Robbie Mahfouz: tranferred to Southeastern then played two years in USFL for the Jacksonville Bulls.

So what you are saying is LSU has a problem identifying QB talent? Is O going to fix this trend? So far, he hasn't.

Lafourche Connection shutting down the thread.
Great info, everyone can have their own opinion, but this is the thread that counts. To be overly complete, would need any QB that transferred under Saban, Miles and Coach O.

Informed fans who picked Stan.
Read about him here.
He was on roster with Wickersham and Doug Powell (?) in mid-80's.

Not talking JUCO year. I am speaking of a four year university. There may be someone I just can’t think of one right now. We possibly could have some in the near future to pay attention to
Most of them stayed here too long. I like what Narcisse/scott did. Leave before they screw you up too much here.

Hatch bettered himself by leaving. To me if you’re gonna leave, do it early while you have time to develop in the next system. Waiting till you have a final year means you waited too long.

The list of those who have left and done well is almost as short as the list of LSU QB’s who have stayed 4 years and been successful
FIFY.
Yeah, it's embarassing how bad QB play has been at LSU for a long time. At the same time, few who've transferred out have been successful at their new spot, as well. I'm not sure which has been worst, our QB development or our QB evaluation, but both have been atrocious.
Since, '07, the only QB's who had decent enough careers at LSU so that I'd like to have them again are Matt Flynn and Mettenberger. OTOH, I don't think any of the above transferees had good enough careers elsewhere so that I'd want them back at LSU.

Lester Ricard did pretty well at Tulane. Made it to the practice squad of the Jags and Panthers.

You left off McMillan. Word on the street is, he called up Bama and demanded they start him.
