Can we try to enjoy watching our Tigers play tonight?

We're not going to a top tier bowl this year. We're not even going to win 9 or 10 games and 2 or 3 of our wins are going to be really shitty against teams we should beat handily but that's our new reality.

None of us were less of a fan during the 1990s (okay, most of y'all were less of a fan in the 1990s) so why should we not care now? What goes up must come back down and one day we'll realize we're on our way back up and we'll be thrilled to watch our Tigers dominate again. But until then, LETS JUST TRY TO ENJOY A FOOTBALL GAME played by our LSU Tigers and the occasional upsets they're going to pull off now and then.

Coach O is not terrible, he's just not great. I don't like that but there's nothing I, as a fan, can do about it. The sooner you all can also come to that understanding the better.

8-9 months of anticipation was absolutely ruined last Saturday. It's really hard to get enthused about LSU football right now.

Expect the worst, and hope for the best...I guess

I enjoyed watching us tie MSU 7-7 last week.. Other than that, there wasn't a single fricking thing I enjoyed about that game.

I would love nothing more than to enjoy watching the Tigers play tonight, but thats not up to me

Miserable people are gonna act miserable. There's nothing you can do about that. I'll be in Tiger Stadium tonight cheering on the team!

...with you.
I can not go .. I'm in Dallas, but will be watching and cheering.
I refuse to be dragged down by negative people.

If/when bad results happen, I will deal with them then...remembering that it is a still a game....after seeing a week's worth of destruction by hurricanes.

I will try and enjoy like I always do. It depends how we play as to if I enjoy.
Stupid penalties, dropped balls, and uninspired players can ruin it for anyone.
I won't waste my life bitching like 12 year old girl all day every day about it though

I think you’ve succinctly captured the feelings of most Tiger fans. Mine, for sure.

We don't have to lose to pop off, watch the melt when the game is close and we squeak by....Lol it's more epic that way and I'll probably be drunk melting too

I think most fans over 35 can remember just how awful LSU football was in the 80s and most of the 90s. It was a long, difficult climb to get back to being relevant and a major player in college football. For me, I don't want to let this thing get away and have to build from the bottom again. That's my concern. The LSU name still means something, even if the team is struggling. The name won't stand up to more games like last Saturday.

Kind of hard to enjoy a game when your team gets penalty after penalty and gets manhandled. If we play well, then I will enjoy the game.

I wish i could have experienced the LSU 90's for a different perspective, i was born in 93 though, pretty much grew up during LSU's run of dominance in the mid 2000s
