Nobody is saying those weren't legit. What they are saying is that it could have gone against MSU at the same rate and it did not.

That's a bias that shows in the stats and the game in real time and in replay. Sorry bruh, defend the refs all you want but LSU gets hosed more often than not.

We did win. And I'm glad. But we should have beat them by three TDs. You can't honestly and objectively tell me that the refs last night weren't fricking awful.

Hell, watching the game was an awful, frustrating experience.

In the second half after the long run for a TD was called back for a hold, wasn't it 1st and 10 from the 18 again? Did I miss something?

The only bad "call" I recall was in the 1st half when a Miss St player was called for a hold on Fournette when he literally just had the palm of his hand on him, no grabbing.

Every "big play" call was a legitimate call. Now whether they were calling it both ways is a different story.

I wouldn't have minded the no calls on Key getting held because that's par for the course... but to then turn around and wipe out 3 big plays on very borderline holding calls was infuriating. The game wasn't called evenly. It was like there were different standards for each team for holding: MSU had a lenient standard and LSU had a tight one. That's bad officiating. call it both ways. And it was amazing that the flags only came out after big plays. Probably coincidence, but it didn't feel like it.

And the spotting was ridiculous. Fournette's last carry was shorted by a yard, which was a huge deal. MSU got a free first down when they were about a yard short. Even Fournette's TD had an awfully slow TD call for a guy who clearly crossed the plane.

when they called us for hands to the face while ignoring the hold on key was typical sec bullshite

Pretty much a 25 yard differential

But yeah, I can not remember the last time LSU had over 200 yards of offense called back due to penalties. A 50 yard TD pass, 90 yard TD run, 30 yard QB scamper, and a 30 yard Williams run, just off the top of my head.

Even the commentators were clearly skeptical of the way the game was being officiated, multiple times.

I would just like to see games called consistently.

Yup, and the way you do that is by letting the teams play and stay away from ticky tack calls. Im tired of watching SEC games getting bogged down. A well referee'd game is one where you don't notice the refs. Too often in SEC officiated games, the refs are front and center.

The most blatant non-call last night to me was when the State defender jaw'd at our sideline. I mean, come on. How can you not call that after you called it in us earlier in the game?

It was comical. The refs were determined to negate any big LSU play they could.

Aw, come on guys. The two Dural TDs had obvious holding calls. What's the ref supposed to do, ignore it?

I saw one bad call against LSU, and it was the hands to the face. the LT was obviously holding on that play.

We were not the victim of bad officiating last night. we WERE the victim of bad playcalling by Cam.

Was it the second to last drive when they completed a pass for 7 yards on 1st and 10 for a first down?

I remember this to. Was this the 4th quarter

Honestly I thought most of the calls on us were warranted but the holding call on the Williams' run in the 4th was CRIMINAL

I thought so too. I still don't see how we held on that play

How about miss state first down in last drive when he was almost 2 yards shy

This. How has no one brought this up on radio or ESPN . It's not even like it was a bad spot. They spotted the ball literally 2 yards short and just moved the chains without a question . I've never seen something like that and it didn't seem like les or anyone was mad about it .

I felt like we were Shaquille O'neal and they were a white guy from Miss St. Because we were bigger, stronger, and faster we weren't allowed to play on the border of the rules but they were allowed to go past that border because we were big and they were small.

On the indisputable evidence thing to overturn replay calls.. I never understand it, as sometimes they seem to just call the play with what most likely occurred based on the replay regardless of the original call and sometimes the indisputable evidence excuse is used.

Not to mention the Darrel Williams run on third down that they blew dead after he was 10 yards downfield to "review" the incompletions.

This was by far the worst call of the game. It killed a drive were we were most likely going to score. I think they saw that LSU had a great play lined up and they stopped it.

Refs were bad...how they didn't overrule that Dupre catch is comical.
