Has Jim Tressel been mentioned?

He was just mentioned to me, so I'm
throwing him out there.

I'm of the mind that no matter who it is we'll have a year
or two of growing pains.

Why is everyone so high on Mullen. He is not a home run hire at all. Without Prescott at Moo State, then they suck. Bad hire IMO.

Tuberville is a step DOWN from Miles.

So, you're saying without a QB a team will suck.

Who's our qb?

Who recruited Dak? Who developed him?

Why would Jimbo leave Fla. St.? The only reason is money and its not that much more. He basically has an SEC power in the ACC. Win 1 game a year and you Nat title hunt

Not realistic. Do you folks even know he has a higher salary and has a better bonus program than Miles now? He's not going anywhere.

If he's not available, Vince Lombardi.

Peyton would take it.

No idea if he can coach. He could recruit QB's, that's for sure.

At first I was like no to coach O. Then I thought about it. Since he is a defensive guy, he would let Cam Cameron (assuming he stayed) have control of the offense. So I think I would be ok with it.

Realistic? Anybody in the country. This is LSU, with all the resources necessary, a loaded roster and a number 1 recruiting class coming up. Name anyone but Saban in a better situation where they are today. If the administration plays this smart, and goes after the best 2-3 coaches out there, this gets really good going forward. I think it is vital we get a progressive, but fundamentally sound offensive background experienced coach, that can take all of these great offensive skilled players we get through here, and become good offensively. It seems we are in much better shape with coach o and steele, and with some more time and the big recruits they have coming in, they are going to be better. If this admin zeros in on just about anyone they really want, and doesn't mess around with not paying them what they're worth, we should have a good chance at getting them.
