Of course we were elite before him, but he only goes after top flight coaches, not something we could be as sure of if it was alleva or someone else

He hired one of the best wbb coaches in the country, a top 10-15 football coach for a&m, a top 10 coch at washington, and a really good coach for a&m basketball

He has a resume of successful big time hires

If LSU weren't in BR I'd agree. BR is quckly becoming Jackson, MS

Still butthurt over the shoe throwing incident and getting your asses kicked by a squad of 53 young and talented Tigers I see.

Hey, how did you like that 57 yard field goal? It was impressive huh?

I know choup, but the negative backlash lsu received yesterday from its own boosters and fans has to factor in

I’m not saying Casey is my #1 choice, but I, and seems like I’m in the minority, would be exited to have him. He’s a great coach and I think he gets too much heat for the Heimlich situation. It’s more to it that we know.

Agreed, the LH thing wouldnt be my issue with him, but the optics of it has to be enough to kill his chances.
My issue is motivation and lack of experience in the south

I give people praise where it is due. Woodward hasn’t done anything to garner this deity level that some people here put him at.

That and you’re inheriting a young squad with talent.

It’s a pretty rare instance you can walk into a top 3 job that needs more tweaking than rebuilding

Best freshmen class in the country. No reason we cant be a top 8 seed the next 2 years
And there were people on here as recently as last weekend claiming it is a total rebuild, the freshman class isn’t that good because it only has two future major leaguers, and the freshman pitchers aren’t SEC caliber.

It was a good hire at the time but it still wasn’t O’Sullivan, Corbin, CPM, or others that were tied to the job.
