He is the starter immediately? Season is lost I get it but Max can’t throw rolling to his right or his left. He’s a solid small school qb

Depending upon the record why would you?

Wouldn't you want the younger guys to get more experience?

Then again if the coaching staff is gone they may just want to do the "right" thing out of respect for Brennan.

I think it all sort of depends how things unfold?

I wouldn't say that. Max could be better but he hasn't played in a year and is a freaking statue wearing concrete shoes. Brennan will get murdered behind this OL.

In your mind.
We had the same O line last season and Brennan put up much better numbers.
The defense last season was shite.
I'm not saying Brennan is better, just giving the facts.
I wish them both success.

QB is not the problem. LSU is dead last in the NCAA in rushing offense and production. When a team puts just 2 defensive linemen up against your 4/5 and still don't run the ball that tell you everything that you need to know.

Have you watched LSU play this year ? I honestly don’t know how you could have been paying any attention to this season and think QB is our issue. Max is fine. Our defense sucks and we can’t run the ball.

Brennan needs to sit out this year to get as healthy as possible.
Then he needs to transfer to Southeastern to play for a real offensive coordinator and give himself a chance to get drafted or at least signed by an NFL team.
Look what Cole Kelly has done for himself at SLU, he will be on an NFL roster next year.

You dont think Brennan stretching the field will back the defenses off?

QB is the least of our worries, but changes need to be made.

He should be…..he’s simply a better player than Max…..his ability to get the ball out quickly and process decisions quicker will be helpful with this busted arse o line.

QB may not be "the" problem, but it is one of the main problems. Accuracy issues, scared to death, does not step up in pocket, and holds the ball much too long. Missing wide open receivers absolutely played a role in losing Saturday night. Missing wide open receivers also cost them a chance at UCLA. Max makes the OL look even worse than they are and has to be spoon fed way too much. Accuracy would keep the defense off of the field more. The coaches are fricking the rushing attack, by playing Davis-Price. Kiner has found some success

You should check those numbers again. I think they will surprise you.

Brennan isn't some magical quarterback. He can't just roll in at 100% in shape and his throwing on point. That takes time. Sure he's doing some of it now, but nowhere near the level he needs to be ready.

Even then, it's not like he's some proven quarterback. You're not getting a 20 start Senior game manager. I don't see him making an impact this year. It's sad because he had so much potential but those injuries probably ensured he won't be playing team football once his eligibility is gone (meaning no shot at NFL)

Remember him on 3rd down? I do. Weren't we like 1 out of 7 or 1 out of 11 on third down conversions?
That's not on the defense.
