Whether you liked Canada or not, some of our success against Bama when he was here was because of Bama’s D having to deal with so much “eye candy” in the way of motion or different formations. A lot of Clemson’s success so far tonight is due to Bama’s failure to communicate/cover correctly. Negate whatever physical advantage they may have by confusing the hell out of them.

That by itself is not enough. You need a scheme like Clemson's. Need to spread them out.

IMHO, the reason Clemson is having success is because the QB has time. Fat bodies matter.

Lawrence isn't overly mobile, the playcalling is what is getting it done. Spreading them out, crossing routes and good pass blocking.

The success was one busted RB direct snap dive. Just because we scored once and we don’t at home anymore isn’t success.

Clemson oline ain't pissing themselves at the mere sight of Bama , like LSU . LSU IS SCARED TO DEATH OF ALABAMA ONLY EXPLANATION.

A qb that can throw combined with a good offensive line and creative play calling

Clemson is not getting whipped upfront by 3 or 4 guys when pass blocking like LSU did. Our oline couldn’t block their dline.

We cannot beat Alabama with the scheme that we run against them. Unlike LSU’s scheme, Clemson is keeping Alabama’s defense off balanced. Plus Clemson has a very salty, better than average QB.

10 points was "success"? It ain't 2011 anymore. Alabama already scored more than 10 tonight and put up 29 on us this year.

I agree, having a talented QB and giving him time and reliable targets is critical. So too is the play calling and scheme against this team. Look at the Bama LBs and DBs running around confused when Clemson comes out in a different formation every play and then uses motion to throw them off more.

It’s creative and unpredictable. We could have the most talented guys in the state and it wouldn’t matter if we didn’t have that aspect too.

It's coaching. Period end of story. Clemson is lighting up Bama again. LSU can't score a single point at home. LSU is so far out of the offensive league of these teams.
