Anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody else for anything they want. Your neighbors Christmas lights are too bright, sue them (not something I'd do, just making a point).

Anybody know if we have any legal leverage against LSU?
Maybe not from a legal standpoint, but from an emotional and mental point, yes. I have got 45 years of time, money, emotion, dedication into this basketball program. And this team has the tools and potential to win the National Championship, something myself and many other fans have waited for, hoped for, prayed for, longed for, for a long time. And now, they suspend the HC at a very important part of a great season, and for nothing, I'd be willing to sign on to a class action lawsuit!!!

He thought he'd get affirmation because every other idiot spouting nonsense is getting upvotes by the truckload for saying anything against the Admin and for Wade.

That's what we need... Let's just take thousands or millions of dollars away from our sports programs and school in general... I'm sure you would be popular around here after causing lsu to lose a bunch of money, and not splitting it with anybody. Lol
Yes I know what class action means.

You paid to be entertained.
LSU admin definitely put on a show.

You are one stupid, inbred, window licking, mother fricker.
With all due respect, of course.

“Can the fans sue LSU?”
Of course than can!!! That is one of the beauties of America you can sue anyone for anything!
Now winning the suit, that is the real question

My perception is this is the dumbest question I have ever read on this site.

Sure you can.
You will lose.
But you can definitely sue.

I actually love this idea, and I would love to come up with a way to sue that a*s! Folks all across this Earth have sued and sued and sued. I ain't ever sued for sh*t, and I'm kind jealous about it. I want to sue. I'll be in a class action suit, or somebody give me another angle to bring some type of suit. I don't even care about minute details at this point; I just want to sue.

The fans just get younger and dumber every day.
In the last week of so, I've begun to believe most of the posters are just kids. I used to pay attention to some of the opinions, but I don't think that's likely to happen any more.
I'll check occasionally for a link to a legitimate news source, but the rest is just kids with ridiculous opinions who just found a place they can cuss and argue. This message board has outlived its usefulness because the admins have let it become a kiddie show.

People should quit the nonsense that Wade "can't talk because he's under subpoena." People act like Wade is under a gag order because his lawyer told him you should shut up if telling the truth means you must admit cheating.
In reality, Wade might be (subpoenas are frequently withdrawn) asked questions under oath at a later deposition, hearing, or trial about paying players. If he didn't cheat, he should say it now to LSU, the NCAA, God, whomever. Then say it again if the subpoena is not withdrawn. It's very simple. His lawyer shut him down because his lawyer knows the truth.

True, and Will Wade has not been subpoenaed. He's as free to talk about the criminal trial as anyone posting on this board. Probably inadvisable to do so, because he probably knows more than the rest of us, and we're surely less likely to face NCAA or criminal penalties. But Will Wade, to this point, is free to talk about the criminal trial, the NCAA, his thoughts on the Oscars, his favorite foods or personal hygiene. No restrictions...unless he has things to say that would harm him.

Anybody can try to sue if they like.
You’d be wasting money though.

We make fun of Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Miss State fans, but frequenting this board will show you that we have some fans who compare very closely to the other schools stereotypes.

You don't necessarily sue for money. As for as I am concerned a class action suit against the LSU admin would be more for the statement it makes and not for money. These people operate LSU like it is their personally owned business, when in fact we, the fans, the tax payers, the state of Louisiana owns LSU. These people need to be put in their place. They are servants, not owners!
