If you go to www.lsusports.net and click on Tiger Stadium seating chart it will give you the view from your seat. It is not bad but it is way the hell up there. Like someone else said you can see the whole play develop. You can also probably see your house in Ms!

Bring a date, the Deliverance boys up in that section might leave you alone if they got a woman with real purty lips to play with.

I've sat all over the stadium and I love the uppers. Nothing wrong with them at all.

You can move to a better seat in the 2nd quarter when all the LSU fans leave....

FF is the highest it goes in the East uppers so four rows down from the top. Not all that bad. My father-in-law who sat up on FF one time came back and said the FF stands for F-ing Far

Those seats are way up there but there are elevators if you want to avoid the walk - get there early if you want to do that (I like the walk up the ramps and treat it as my day's exercise when I sit in the WU). You will not need binoculars and the view of the game is excellent. In fact, you see the play develop so well that you will likely feel a moment of utter dread before something bad happens to your team - you see it coming! On the down side, you miss out on is some of the "feel" of the stadium.

Are you in East Upper or West? We sit in East Upper near where the visting fans usually sit. Actually like the view, and like someone said, you can easily see the opposing receivers running past our DBs from up there.

You will fight the sun, so bring sunglasses, and enjoy-it is not generally an area full of really abusive fans.

The thing about Tiger Stadium is that it's much more vertical than most stadiums of comparable size. This dates back to the construction of the original stadium under Huey Long. they built it on a steeper pitch so that they could construct dormitories under the stands. As a result, from the upper deck it almost feels as if you're looking straight down on the field. A "closer" feel than you might think. That said, binoculars could be worthwhile. Especially if you can conceal about a pint of Maker's Mark in the false bottom of the case.

anyone who talks shite about the upper deck has obviously never sat there because the view is just fine, you actually see the whole play develop, i can actually see better from my parents tickets in the west upper than when i sit in the first few rows of the student section

+1 Sat up there 10+ years...best seats in the house.

When commercial aircraft dump their "blue water" people in the uppers get a shower. Wear a raincoat.

Once you're seated it is really a great view.
It's not steep either.
