Can someone explain to me why so many LSU fans hate the Saints

I have honestly seen nothing but love for them. I’m a cowboys fan, growing up in Dallas, but was rooting for the saints today. Have a lot of family in Louisiana. One of the most botched calls I have ever seen. It’s absurd really, and I’m still baffled. Now we get to see a-hole Brady get another ring. That call probably was 3 different penalties in one play. Those officials should be fired, and that’s no exaggeration.

I don't hate the Saints. I have grown to dislike those that put the Saints before LSU though.

Maybe bc they are the New Orleans saints and not the Louisiana saints. Just a shot in the dark. Really have no clue what the hell you are talking about

There’s a very small portion that actually hate the saints. There’s a sizable portion that don’t care about the saints.

Close to 20 percent of LSU’s student body is from out-of-state. I graduated from LSU and grew up a Titans fan and don’t care about the Saints.

An honest question for any of y’all. Are y’all bigger LSU, or Saints fans? Just curious. I love the cowboys, but nothing will ever trump LSU. LSU over everything easily for me.

I actually haven't seen many LSU fans who hate the saints at all. In fact, the saints have a pretty good number of fans in MS and Alabama as well.

All LSU fans aren’t Saints fans. I don’t personally hate the Saints but asking why anyone would isn’t a tough question. There are LSU fans/alumni from all over the country. Most of them are not Saints fans. In fact, everyone who lives in LA isn’t required to be a Saints fan either.
