Sore throat for a few weeks. Lost some weight. Wasn't good enough to play yet, so he didn't. Lied that he was not playing because of his illness, despite Ferris State people saying otherwise.
Magically got a former Ferris State assistant AD to say it affected him, and the guy likely landed a nice payday or gig for intentionally making a vague enough statement to be spun as contradicting the coaches and current admin at Ferris State.

He had tonsiltis at Ferris St. After exhausting his 5 yrs of NCAA eligibility at Ole Miss he applied for a retroactive medical redshirt. The NCAA denied him twice. Ole Miss helped him sue and got a ruling from a MS that said he could play. Not a peep from Sanky.
Wright and Harris also received a TRO from a judge allowing them to play and the sky is falling.
