Our record disagrees with you.

That’s bullshite about mobility
Nuss is probably faster than Burrow. He just doesn’t run when the lane is wide open
When he wants to he can scramble his arse off, he’s just too much of a pussy to ever run

Re: the comment you were responding to.
Nuss is not a statue. He’s fast for a QB. He will not run but he could if he wanted to.
He’s at least as fast as Burrow, the difference is Burrow knew exactly when and where to run and in that way he was sometimes just as effective as Jayden. You don’t have to be a burner to be a deadly runner as a QB. Burrow could never break a big play like Jayden but if you left anything open, he would make you pay, every time.
He was the best QB I’ve ever seen at knowing when and where to run.

You are such a bad poster. You give Tarzana a run for the worst poster on here in terms of political and sports.
He doesn't run much, but I've seen him lay the wood once when he did. He definitely wasn't scared.

You could argue that Burrow and Jayden put up the 2 single best QB seasons in college football history. 1 in 10,000 seasons. So I do not think Nuss can do it. He hasn't showed that he can play against good teams like Ole Miss, Bama, TAMU, UF. He puts up horrible stats against those type of teams. 50% completion, 5.5 YPA, extremely low passer ratings.
No, I do not think he can do it.

Burrow had 39 pass attempts before his first year at LSU in 2018. Burrow's first year was not as good as Nuss's first year:
Disagree. Burrow found a way to win or keep it competitive and also threw under half the INT's Nuss did.
He shite the bed vs Bama, but beat UGA who was #2. No shot Nuss beats #2 team at home today.
He kept LSU into TAMU and shoulve won. Nuss shite the bed and collapsed. Burrow was the better QB year 1 than Nuss Year 1. The defense absolutely has to be better next year to help Nuss.

In addition, Burrow and Jayden should've gone 10-2 in their first years if Refs did not screw us over at TAMU for Burrow, and Ramos hit the XP vs FSU in the Dome.

Yeah I’m the only one who says he’s too much of a pussy to run
You have a hard on for me and it’s evident in every post of mine you respond to, go be gay somewhere else

All he needs is a pair of first round caliber wide receivers (Jefferson/chase) and (nabers/btj), learn to scramble for first downs, and have a defense that knows how to stop zone reads.

Yes. Nuss can improve.
Meanwhile we have a great backup in Colin Hurley that is steadily developing via practice and film study.

Nuss has been in the program for 4 years, 3rd year in the offense, he is what he is. JB and JD were completely different situations imo.

But if JD can go from Uber conservative to gun slinger dropping dimes I think Nuss can make a big leap next year. Hopefully he’s fully healthy.
This has become my only hope for next year. But dunno if threat of a Nuss run will ever cause a substantial change in defense coverage. JD could take it to the house on every play if not contained tightly - made his receivers that much more open. (plus he could drop it on a dime any time he wanted)

He is gone so we will need a QB in the portal

I haven’t seen the progression yet this year. He started strong but has regressed. It also helps to have good receivers.
After seeing everyone lose yesterday I realized maybe LSU isn’t that bad, the SEC is just beating itself up this year.
