I'd think he could be on the hook for misdemeanor battery and obstruction of justice (for lying/railroading this investigation).

frivolous lawsuit should he go to Civil?
guessing, but I imagine no lawyer wants near this kid assuming rumors prove to be true about him.

think hes gon go away soon, the rumors of the other 3 is all thats keeping me interested.

Your opinion of lawyers is laughably overrated. I'd assume at a minimum there is at least a handful of Tulane Law grads that'll take the case.

Did he lie about who threw the first punch? That would be against the law

Even if he wasn't under oath?

Yeah. It wouldn't be perjury (lying under oath), but rather obstruction.

I still can't believe some on the rant think the restraining order was over something that happened the previous night because it says events of the 18th and the fight happened after midnight making it the nineteenth.

not sure, but it's a shame the legal system doesn't take into account deserved arse-kickings

I would think since if he is indeed the instigator and started the fight that yes he could be arrested. But I doubt it.

Are there other opportunities to charge Lowery with other charges?

I would like to know more about the civil side. If Lowery is the known instigator can he be liable for all the medical bills?

Amazing people can't figure out difference between a deserved arse whipping and getting kicked while out....a fight wouldn't have even made the news...its when you start punting heads it might be a little far.

Well simple battery, obstruction of justice and aggravated douchebaggery come to mind.

If Lowery punched wing inside the bar like has been reported by a few and Fisher has video of it, remember he claimed to have video from inside the bar, but didnt elaborate on it. That would be video evidence of simple battery.

I could care less if he gets arrested...doesnt mean a player should be kicking while out though.

As information becomes more and more available I am glad the douchebag got kicked in the head. And some of you must not know what its like getting in a fight. Is it ok for someone to sit on a guy when he is down and punch him in the face repeatedely? I have seen this happen in a few fights.
