I want to say yes. But he looked pretty rattled and his feet were set in stone. I don't know if he can be successful in the type of offense crowton runs. He should be able to beat la tech.

the reason the pass interference was waived off is because his pass was 5 yards out of bounds....he threw 6 passes out of bounds and was very inaccurate. The two passes he completed were against prevent defense. one of 3rd and 25

This is just wrong.

please explain to me how this statement is wrong?? name one accurate throw that was made in a hard situation. I want to support the kid and im glad he got his shot but he didnt produce. And to think that he played great and would have lead us on the game winning drive is idiotic. I was just hoping we had enough time for ridley to break off some big runs and maybe let lee throw some swing passes to get out wrs in space to make a play. He was not going to complete a big time throw in that game, plain and simple.

I know his last 2 passes were to the wrong team, they just dropped them.

Aside from some bullshite calls and some penalties that killed our drives, he almost beat Bama.

LA tech does not even have the talent of Tulane.. Shepard could could beat Tech. I'm not exaggerating.. definitely Lee can.

The Tulane comment was ignorant, and Tulane wouldn't even belong on the field with Tech in this decade. However, we've got some SERIOUS OC problems (thanks to Scelfo, from TULANE), aaaaaand we're down to 3rd and 4th stringers now having to start for us because of the most unbelievable string of injuries I've ever seen. ONLY because of the massive list of injuries will I say Lee will look just fine on Saturday. MAYBE one starting DB will be on the field from Tech, possibly none of them. Our previous coach was an idiot that recruited JC guys and has left Dooley with no depth, so we're going through major growing pains this year playing a bunch of freshmen. We were making a big habit of snagging interceptions, but with the injuries, that ain't happenin'.

if he gets reps with the 1s all week and starts, I think Lee will light Tech up

The PI part is right. But the logic on the rest is just wrong. He couldn't have thrown 6 out of bounds and thrown 1 int, while going 4-10. You also said "the two passes he completed." He completed 4. How is that not wrong?

Let's look at WHEN he is being brought in...
against Tulane...at the 1 yard line.
1)against Alabama...when Alabama knew it was all 2)about "passing" and they did not need to worry about the run.

It will be nice to see him in an environment where he can learn, even if he makes mistakes.

if that is so..it would STUPID on a grand scale.
a)there is no need to risk JJ
b)would be a missed opportunity for experience...
we still have Ole Miss, Ark and a Bowl game...
we better get JL ready (like it or not) with JJ hurt...and likely to re-injure

If they let him call his own plays, he may have a shot.
