I’d like to see a slow transition and be ready 100% by UF game

Actually it depends. LSU announced it today but it’s hard to know when his acclimation period actually started. If it was 5 days ago he could play against Vandy.

I'm guessing some snaps against Utah St. So a bye week and the week leading up to Utah St. He'll be starting against the Gaytors.

He was suspended in August of 2018. Since then we have an entirely new offense, new schemes and new calls. There is zero percent chance he is ready in 5 days. Not a single chance. Unless the no practicing with the team thing was a lie and he has been.

Can he? Probably. Will he? No. He hasn’t played football in over a year. Maybe in a few weeks.

Where did it say he hasn’t been with the team at all? Everything I have looked at said the team kept him as part of it and kept him included in anything they were allowed to. I would imagine he knows the playbook pretty well.

I'm thinking the 5 day period may have started back when he tweeted out he was free then deleted it. Just my guess though.

Would you be able to step in immediately after 13 months off of football?
Probably not.
Hell, we've installed an entirely new offense since he last played. He's got to learn that, get back and shape, and beat out 2-3 guys.
Give him a few weeks.
Probably not.

Orgeron said Monday that Ingram has been working out on his own during his suspension, so "when he does come back, we'll be able to clear him, and he'll be ready to play."
If you are suspended from the team, you are not with the team.

It’s not like he just joined the team today. He may be a little more ready than you think. But, maybe not.

That is not what all the reports had said. Obviously he can’t physically practice with the team, but as far as I know there is nothing preventing him from team meetings, discussions, and learning the new playbook. I know I’m some of his “individual” workouts it was said he was working with other members of the O-line.

A former OL friend, Brumfield ??, said that he's been in touch with him, that "he is in great shape" and is "ready to hit the ground running." Implication being whatever your take is on that comment.

Acclimation period starts when he participates in team drills (helmet only at first).
Practices are NCAA regulated. Not sanctioned events. The difference is that he didn't have to wait on the NCAA rubber stamp to practice, he would (if delayed) to play in a game (which is a sanctioned event). He could start the clock and practice on simply the go ahead of AD/HC... which is 2 days ago I think.
So he can play with 5 days up next Sat (which is obviously Bye #1).
He can't go full pads until 5 days are up (there's some time regulations too I think, unimportant in this case). And the coaches would never ever put him in a game without full pads practice. It would be quite irresponsible on a couple of levels.
So we can, and 99% likely, see him in UF game (about 3 weeks after his court hearing). Then the question becomes shape and assignments/playbook. If he's up to speed for UF, lots of snaps or actually starting. If not quite up to speed, enough snaps to get him there. AND, he's likely slated for LG moving over from RG, so some minor adjustments and moderate ones due to the new offense.
Utah St I predict he'll be starting at LG.
ETA: correction, swap Utah St and UF... playing vs Utah St and starting against UF is my guess.

Don’t be surprised if he isn’t starting for Utah but for sure Florida. The ones saying no might have forgotten that he might have been our best OL his freshman year!
It’s a damn shame what the Texas judicial system did to him by dragging this shite on!

It’s been 2 years. No.

OTB, Garrett Brumfield—a pretty intelligent fella—made it sound as though Ed will be contributing sooner rather than later.

Two years since he lasted played football. So either he is rusty arse hell or two years more matured, meaning bigger and stronger then he was as a 18 year old freshman starting. I’d like to think the latter!
