Can CLK get the offense to start fast versus Texas A&M?

We have not gotten a first down on any of our first offensive possessions in all 3 games.
Clemson - Interception on the second play
LA Tech - Pass for 6 yards, Run for 2, Run for -3, Punt
Ole Miss - Incomplete pass, False Start, QB Run for 1, Pass for 1, punt
Really looking for the offense to put together a long drive right out of the gate. Set the tone early, get the run game going, get Leavitt some easy completions. Put 7 on the board early and get your swagger back

Even more head scratching than the defensive gameplan in the first half was the offensive gameplan in the first half of not trying to establish the run whatsoever...

I understand that sentiment but they were probably looking at the Louisville game and thinking that they could dice up the Ole Miss secondary easily.

So far Kiffin’s offensive prowess is overrated by a long shot. Yeah, we have racked up yards in some games, but in 2 out of 3 games we have had shitty 1st half’s, and looked like we were unprepared for the moment.
I am still not impressed with Kiffin, although he’s better than Kelly for sure.
