Maybe youre the narcissist that needs to shut up?
He very well may have been right about both....If you have any sense, and you are looking for a new Coach, or CEO, or whatever, you don't run your damn mouth and say retarded, self serving shite that is going to scare top talent off.
Great coaches are control freaks and they don't want to work where they have to deal every day of their tenure with an overbearing clown running the State, who will surely make their life and job miserable.

Sexton will be the greedy fat POS he always has been….technically good agent if he’s yours.
Sexton's job, like any agent's, is to make sure he gets the best result for his client in keeping with his client's wishes. It's NOT his job to make sure LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, etc get a "reasonable deal". But even then, the coach still runs the show. If he doesn't want to get into a bidding war or try to leverage his current employer, he can put a stop to it at any time.
In the end though, college football is just a business. If I'm the agent of the HC why would I NOT use the desperateness of multiple potential employers to try to raise my salary to the highest point possible?
Kiffin is going to end this cycle as the highest paid HC in the country. Not because he is the best HC in the country or that Sexton is a great agent. If will be because LSU, Florida, Ole Miss (and maybe others) are ALL desperate.

If you offer anyone $100 million dollar contract, they won't give a sh*t what the governor said.

I am exhausted with non-stop grandstanding from the USL Governor.
Surely, we have smarter Republicans to lead this state than this ignorant clown.

you have zero clue what is going on behind the scenes.
Exactly. He needs to keep it behind the scenes and not make the entire state and University look like a bunch of retarded assholes. He needs to shut his fricking mouth.

They are the ones that choose to fire him as well, and all of that is done through their proxy, the AD. The AD represents LSU, but he works for the big donors to TAF.
I don't give a shite if the governor, or the BOS doens't want Woodward. If the big donors want him, then he should be the AD.
Nick Saban quit because of this bullshite attitude
quote:
"You know, I'm not [surprised] because everybody's raising money to pay players," Saban said. "So, the people that are giving the money think they have a voice and they're just like a bunch of fans. When they get frustrated and disappointed, they put pressure on the [athletic directors] to take action, and it's the way of the world."
I think I'll trust Saban more on how to win at the highest level, than a poster who thinks a bunch of incel tech money guys should determine how things are run

Then no coach is ever getting hired again I guess. I'll trust Nick Saban over anyone on how things are now done in football

The coaches and agents run the game. If you think you are running anyone off because they dont want guaranteed contracts, then I dont know what to tell you
Scott Woodward was a major instigator of this. He did it with Chris Petersen, who then retired. He did it with Jimbo, who he tried to do a 2nd time at LSU. Then he did it to Kelly, who also then retired. While still on the job
