Can a 1-loss ACC champ Clemson jump LSU if we both win out?

Just trying to think of all the 1-loss teams that could pose a threat.

Clemson was drubbed by Notre Dame and does not have the quality of wins compared to LSU's wins over Bama and Ole Miss. So, I say no.

I have them behind a 2 loss LSU in the pecking order.

Clemson’s best win would be to a UNC team that got smoked by the same ND team that smoked them….

Wake, NC State and Syracuse were their only other ranked wins at the time… and none of them will be ranked as of Tuesday.

I think 1 loss USC winning the PAC-12 could be the biggest hurdle left for LSU if they were to win out.

ETA: I know currently USC is behind LSU but the committee doesn’t have any qualms with swapping people around whenever they want to and just make up some BS reason why.

USC poses a challenge being a media darling but USC has three “tough” games left. I’d be surprised if USC goes the rest of the way and doesn’t lose a second game.

USC & TCU will both lose a game.
PAC-12 & B12 are out of the playoff.

LSU wins they are in.

My predicted pecking order:

13-0 Georgia
13-0 tOSU/Mich
13-0 TCU
12-1 Georgia
13-1 USC
11-2 LSU
11-1 Tennessee
11-1 tOSU/Mich
12-1 Clemson/NC
12-1 TCU
10-2 Alabama
11-2 Pac 12 Champ

We need a USC OR TCU loss and the Ohio State/Michigan game not to be an epic game for the ages, in which case the committee may select both. It's better that Ohio State win vs Michigan as well.

USC AND TCU lose and we are in.

What would be LSU’s quality wins? What would be Clemson’s quality wins?

Isn't FSU in the ACC? Just checking. That argument might come up.

... and we have 3 games left.
