13-18 shooting 4-7 from 3 . Cam Thomas poured in a game-high 33 points off the bench, punishing the Lakers’ drop coverage and drawing double teams.
quote:

“Everything was positive in the second half. I’m just happy we finally got the win. That’s the main thing. We got the win,” Thomas said with a Cheshire Cat grin.
“I grew up grew up being a Lakers fan; like, diehard Lakers fan, Kobe (Bryant) fan. So it’s always good to come in here and have a good game or play against them and have a good game. So it always means a little something.”
quote:

The 22-year-old Thomas had a great one, becoming the youngest Net to crack 30 against the Lakers since 1998. He came off the bench and changed the game — and their downward tumble. “That boy good,” marveled Dennis Smith Jr

I remember cooking for his crew during his recruiting visit. He was wearing a Kobe jersey under his Joker hoodie. WW introduced as “ my man w constant green light”

When I see him I always think of a postgame interview after one of his first games on TV at LSU. They asked him his favorite spot to shoot from. He said, “Everywhere.”

He is too good to come off the bench. That whole team makes no sense. He consistently averages around 25 points a game when he gets starter level minutes. When he doesn’t, his points are down.

you could've asked Vinny Johnson the same thing.

"The Microwave" played better coming off the bench. Maybe Cam's coach feels the same about Cam.

They started that a few weeks ago. Either they were trying to promote some players for trades or (more likely) the coach is a tool.
