I can agree with him. Baseball is boring and I've tried watching it. I've tried watching NASCAR, soccer, and golf but to me it's only interesting if you're doing it yourself. I'd play it if I could get some people to set up a few games but watching it is sleep inducing.

I am not a football fan only but that is the sport I am by far the most interested in. I refuse to be the type of fan you describe above.

I love "real fan" posts. You are the reason the team is doing so well. You are so cool.

I'm football and basketball. I'll get into baseball come post-season. Never really have been able to get into it until then.

I'll follow it, read the stories, etc. But as far as investing time and energy into the games, I've never been able to do that in the regular season.

But LSU baseball has plenty enough fans who do. Many, many more than 98% of the baseball team in the country.

Most of the rest of the country may not even know college baseball is going on right not but LSU fans don't have that issue. I think they'll be just fine without me till post-season.

I think it would be more fake for me to start now when I'm not really into it. Kinda like trying to watch the NBA in the regular season. I don't really want to, so why force it?

I'm happy we are winning too. I have all the baseball Advocate championship posters hanging on the wall framed in the room I'm typing this in right now.

But I leave the heavy regular season lifting to those who have the true passion for LSU baseball. They are carrying the load just fine.

I'm perfectly content to jump on the post-season bandwagon.

"Baseball is dull only to dull minds".

Not everybody has what it takes to enjoy the game...but I'm sure these people will poke their chests out when LSU is in Omaha. Some might even go and pretend they have been on board all year.

I've supported LSU Baseball my whole life, just never comment cause my baseball intelligence is lacking and I'd have nothing to add to discussion except usual fanboy shite.

You do it too late (say around the SEC tournament) and you will just look ignorant and extremely fake as a fan. Please get over the stigma that baseball is a boring sport because this team has a speedy and powerful offense and we have one of the better 1-2 punches on the mound in Nola and Eades.

I'm always there for the baseball team, in spirit. Ditto for the basketball team. Maybe, just maybe, one of these days I'll go to a game in person.
