When UK, Duke, UNC’s of college basketball began to fire their coaches, then I will began to worry about Wade. If he paid them who cares, they all do it and I want a winning basketball team.
P.S. remember all the O blasting on here?? I would like to remind that I always said give the man some time to see what he can do. I do think O needs to prove more on the field this yr though. (Example beat bama or 1 loss season)

Call me when Coach Cal, Coach K, or Roy Williams is on tape or directly quoted trying to buy players.
And I'm not naive, I know all of them are involved to some extent - they're just not DIRECTLY involved where it's traceable.
That's the huge difference here.

How do you know Duke and UNC aren't on tape? How do you know that LSU is?
We are bombarded constantly with fake news stories.
There is more circumstantial evidence pointing toward Duke and Zion, than LSU. But not a smidgen of noise about Duke.

No, I don't recognize a massive difference. It is still players being paid massive amounts of money to play basketball at a particular college. The details are not important to me whether the coach mentions it or whether a bag man (or shoe company) handles the payment discreetly and the coach never mentions it.

I don't think anything will happen but not for the reasons that you shared. Smaller fish tend to be used to make an example out of. Bama gets caught cheating, Auburn goes on probation type thing.

It's also considered hearsay right now. But I am not a lawyer so someone else would need to chime in on if this might fit into one of the exceptions. But we are going to need a paper trail, a confession, or him recording stating such in a non-ambiguous fashion.

Our goal should be the SEC Championship and a playoff bid.
Being happy with 9-3 or 10-2 isn't enough. Our goals should be higher (and of course I realize we won't always achieve those goals, but championships should be our goal).
