Any NOLA’s can recommend a good Cajun spot to eat?

I would stop at Herby-K's

*Or Marilynn's. But if you're passing through, Herby-K's is right off the interstate.

i'd say marilyn's place is probably best "nola" type food. for seafood, i'd recommend herby k's for oysters, gumbo and peacemaker poboy. it's right off the interstate near downtown.

Try Frank's Seafood on Southern Loop. Brand new joint that was inspired by Galatoire's and Superior Seafood.

Great Po Boys and Red Fish.

I work in the area, and can say with confidence Marilyn’s Place not Herby-K’s will disappoint. With a gun to my head I pick Marilyn’s

Herby K's >>>> MP's
Go there. Get the Shrimp Buster, an order of onion rings for the table and perhaps a cup of gumbo.

Yeah Shreveport is Texas! Until there's a bunch of good recruits from Shreveport then we need to "keep them home" am I doing it right?
