Caitlyn is the TRUTH. Let's run it back next year.

Barbie vs CC is must see tv. Those girls can play and are both absolute superstars.

This was also not the first time they've played each other. They played each other before Angel transferred.

Ms. Clark took the high road good for her. Had Angel not chased down Ms. Clark in the last few seconds of the game to rub it in her face there would be no controversy. I really do not understand why people can’t grasp this. Angel had already done the can’t see me jester to Ms. Clark when Iowa was shooting free throws in the last minute of the game. Ms. Clark chose to turn her head and ignore it. I have 2 daughters and I love to trash talk, but you don’t go run down the opponent at the end of the game up 17 to rub their face in it! I would be appalled if either of my daughters did this.

The same people on here praising it were crying all last year when TN was doing bat flips. Hypocrites.

It's funny how she's saying basically the same thing Reese said in the aftermath, but we have some on this board saying Clark took the high road.

hmmm.

Because it's all sports. Trash talking is common. Both of these ladies are tightly wound competitors. This single fake controversy has brought so much attention to a women's final that was more exciting to watch than any of the men's games.

Does this mean we have to stop with the premeditated indignation?
I worry what some of our posters will do for the next few months....

Yeah, I was hoping Clark and Reese would hold a Press Conference and both show that kind of attitude.
I doubt either want the Women's Basketball Championship to be clouded out by Woke Media and talking heads striving for attention.
Players work for years to reach the top, then A-holes who do nothing but talk for a living, ruin it.

I have no reason to believe this is not her true feelings, expect that they are. But perhaps just as importantly, this is very "on brand" for her and will only help with her endorsement deals.
The free pub for both of these stars will create larger audiences and dollars for both and is an excellent example of why NIL can be a good thing for college athletes that don't have a really lucrative professional contract waiting.

For be it for me to defend the normal liberal media, but I don’t see this as being generated by the media. A lot of the sports media personalities are saying what’s the big freaking deal. Social platforms and trolls are the ones talking the garbage.
