Are there a lot of Mormans in Hawaii? It looked like quite a few Hawaiians getting off the bus.

a lot of Mormons are polynesians. Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa.

BYU-Hawaii (a different University) has the Polynesian Cultural Center, which I believe is one of Hawaii's biggest tourist destinations.

BYU's head coach was born in Tonga.

Showing them some culture and half of the youngsters have headphones in like the NFL idiots. Such a lost of an opportunity to remember things

That struck me too. Listening to stuff through headphones that they've no doubt heard many times before and can hear whenever they want in the future, while missing a once in a lifetime experience.

It's a different world for literally anyone. It's NOLA. There's no place like it. It's just as "different" for a Catholic from Indiana or a Baptist from Atlanta.

Kids are kids. Lots of unique places in the world, yet teenagers and young adults often ignore what's out there. Take kids to Rio or Cairo or Rive Gauche and you will get some of the same result.

We have to roll out the welcome wagon for them so they won't bitch too much about the game being moved to our backyard.
