Texas AM is headed to be next Bama and Georgia not this year. LSU is going to pass up Georgia and rival Bama again starting this year. TAM competition will make LSU better.

I think they will beat Auburn. It’ll be Bo Nix’s first SEC road game. I don’t care how good Nix is. A true freshman QB making his first SEC road start @ Kyle Field is going to have problems.

Honesty, yeah. People who think that they overpaid for Jimbo are retarded. LSU not scooping him up when they could of will haunt us forever

They are very weak at OT and CB. Their only true CB’s are freshman.

A good pass team with fast receivers is going to light them up.

Look at FSU’s O-line and note the similarities to A&M.

He went 27-1 with Jameis, who was an absolute phenom. Kinda skews the whole winning percentage thing, but who am I to stop you from kissing his arse.

he has a 12 win and three 10 win seasons without Jameis.

saying that’s above average isn’t kissing his arse, it’s stating facts.

but he didn't have to contend with the interference from boosters the way he will at aTm, they're a big part of the hinderance of that program, apparently worse than ours

These are both terrible comparisons fwiw.

Cam and JFF were playmakers that changed games with their athleticism when plays broke down. That was the key to their success.

Jameis was not a runner, he’s a pro style pocket passer that succeeded because of the system in place around him and excellent tutelage and play calling by Jimbo.

He’s obviously very talented as well but saying you can’t judge Fisher by the success he experienced with Winston is a ridiculous position, and even if it weren’t as has already been pointed out he was successful with other QBs like Manuel and Ponder as well.

Or are they “generational” talents as well. As if Winston is some transcendent player that CFB has never seen before

No it isn’t. It’s called an outlier, which any rational person who isn’t the resident board Jimbo nuthugger would agree with.

8-15 against ranked teams without Jameis

4-10 against top 10 teams without Jameis

1-6 against Clemson without Jameis

Average of 9 wins without Jameis

Yea, Jimbo is such a brilliant tactician that he never did jack shite in a weak conference without a Heisman winner. But he did leave FSU in absolute shambles on the way out, so there’s that. Real quality man and coach there.

I’m not even going to address how stupid it is that you think Cam and Johnny Manziel were a different breed of Heisman winner because their version of being a dynamic playmaker was different from Jameis. Absolute fricking moron opinion considering he was a Heisman winner and a clearly-deserving one at that, but I wouldn’t expect any less from you of all people

Dabo, Saban, and Meyer, who are/were the legitimate elites in college football, each haven’t won fewer than 10 games since 2011 at the latest. Elite coaches don’t randomly go 5-6 and completely destroy a program only to jump ship so people can continue saying how great they are.

So in short, you don’t know what the frick you’re talking about.

They lost 5 of their front 6 on defense and two starting safeties, and their best three players on offense. Unless Mond takes a big step forward, they’re taking a step back as a team

Are you talking about the best defensive coordinator we’ve ever had besides Saban and Arnsparger (who were both the head coaches)?

No offense but where have you been If you listen to the pundits most like they will be good this year but because their schedule is brutal lose 3-5 games. They are considered a program on the come but it’s 2020 on not this season.

The media, especially ESPN, wants a team from Texas to win again so bad that it’s quite pathetic. I’ve seen so many of the talking heads picking UT, A&M, and even the Cowboys to win big this season. Only thing these teams have in common lately is that they’re all huge disappointments year in and year out. But yeah, let’s keep picking them to win something. The definition of insanity is...
