To start, I think what’s going right now with the offense is fricking unreal. I constantly find myself not believing what’s actually happening because of what we all we’re used to for the past decade.

That said. I think burrow is the absolute main reason for the success. Sure the offense is different and apart of the success but Brady isn’t the one making the pre snap reads and throwing absolute dimes all damn night.

I guess my point is to just enjoy burrow while we have him and have realistic expectations next year without him. He’s the heart and soul of why this is working so well and mark my words. We aren’t getting beat this year, GEAUX TIGERS!!!

A great college / nfl qb can make a coach look like a genius more than the other way around. I’ll give E credit for seeing towards the end of last year that he was fkin up keeping joe under C. But he needing teaching of more spread concepts. In come Brady and Shazam perfect combination that O put together. Big gamble too putting a young buck with and old wolf and not having it blow up in his face

Why do people feel a need to constantly do this dumb shite?

The answer is both.

Brady is not as successful without Burrow.

Burrow is not as successful without Brady.

Look what favre did for hallman? To some extent Winston for Jimbo.

Great New scheme for sure, but you still need the right triggerman. Look at saints without brees.

Burrow is the main reason we are where we are. Orgeron made the decision. Brady gave us the plan. Burrow and the receivers did the work.. as did the offensive line. All have played a significant part.

You can't complete a pass without the receivers.. Brady came up with ways to improve the skill to catch the ball.I don't think the receivers get enough credit....

It’s both. Brady brought a great NFL scheme to LSU. He’s obviously done an awesome job with the receivers (notice how they rarely drop passes now). He and E are calling the perfect plays.

But none of that matters if you don’t have a QB who can hit those open receivers. That’s where Burrow has shined and has turned a good offensive scheme into a damn near perfect work of art. He is hitting receivers on a dime with throws. He’s pulling the ball in and running for positive yardage when he sees the play is not going to work.

Think of it like this. Brady and his scheme are the Lamborghini. Burrow is the high octane gas you put in it.

The overwhelming difference between this year and last is Brady and the different offense. Burrow was not flourishing last year and even at OSU because he wasn't in his element. Now he is doing what he knows, and playing like he always had. I believe the main one who has made it happen is Coach O.

I was wondering the same.
They work well together for the TEAM.

Burrow isn’t being asked to make as many pre-snap reads as you think. The entire offense turns and looks at the sideline on a lot of plays. Brady/SE are making reads from the both and changing the play accordingly. Not saying Burrow can’t make the right reads, he’s just not being asked to.

I think the word not is inaccurate, but the concept is correct. Both are gifted at what they do but both would be less successful in many other circumstances.

Like a good gumbo, the LSU offense is tasty because of several ingredients all working together.

Buying the ingredients from Rouse's and bringing them home: Orgeron
The recipe: Brady\Peyton
Mixing all the right ingredients: Ensminger
The Roux: Offensive line.
Essential ingredient: Burrow
Enjoying the result: L S U fans

So... you are saying that Burrow is a "system QB"?

Do you think he would he be as successful in a wishbone offense?

You have to give credit to Coach O and OC - Steve Ensminger for allowing Brady to have so much influence and control.

Most of the time, older guys have a major issue giving control to younger guys especially when the older guys names are on the line for any possible failures the young coach could have.

Brady deserves pretty much anything he wants for sure, but Coach O and SE dont get enough credit for allowing Brady to do his thing.

Almost every QB is a system QB.

If that's the stupidity you want to take from that. Did Burrow dominate college football in LSU's system last year? He was still a good QB, but now a whole slew of things combined to make him the dominating QB he is right now, and that includes the system.

Very poor example. They haven't lost a game Bridgewater started.
