Burrow is the type of leader we have not had in recent offseasons

Having a guy like Burrow leading this team through the offseason has me excited. We have not had a QB leading a team through the offseason like this guy in a while. Coaches and staff are limited to the time they can work with the players, but players can organize and have unofficial workouts and practice as long as a staff member is not involved. The stronger your player leadership is the more this can be taken advantage of and a guy like Burrow is the kind of guy that will push his team.

I definitely agree with this. The WRs will only hurt themselves if they don't show up in the spring and summer.

I was glad to see him jump that Olinemans arse when he jumped offsides on a hard count. Hadn’t seen him do that all year and I been waiting for it. He’s going to push them guys all offseason and start holding them accountable

I agree its refreshing in general seeing an on field leader at QB after the past few years. Hopefully it translates to a solid offseason and an improved offense next year.

I am an unapologetic optimist when it comes to LSU football.

His comment in the press conference the other day spoke volumes.

Paraphrasing but something along the lines of:

"If your team leaders arent your hardest workers then you wont be successful"

He's now confident in the offense, with his receivers, and as a leader. LSU gonna rekt next season.

I'm honestly thankful we don't have to endure a competition between 3 guys and have a real leader coming back.

It's his last year of eligibility. He's going to push those guys for 8 months to be the best that they can be and with so many starters coming back there should be a lot of continuity. Couple that with extremely talented young guys filling in, there shouldn't be any excuse for CSE not to dominate the competition next season. I could pick out a litany of offensive coordinators from around college football that would crush with LSU's offensive talent and experience for 2019.

I am also very excited about having Joe Burrow as our QB and team Captain next season. I think that the LSU Fighting Tiger Nation is going to fall absolutely in love with this guy -- and I predict that he will always be remembered very fondly.

I hope Brennan and Parrish absorb these traits.

Imagine the leadership on both sides of the ball if White comes back...I mean, I'm just saying.

If white comes back we will dominate college football next year. We would have a legitimate shot at beating Bama in tuscaloosa and running the table. I don't expect him to necessarily but if...

So...SEC Fuct right? Hell yes they are. Coach O deserves a lot more credit than some of our fans want to give him. He would have been at Nebraska or somewhere else if it weren't for O and ensminger. Burreaux is the man! Geaux Tigers!

It can be scary to watch. I really thought he was old cold after the targeting on the pick 6. It was just incredible to see him get up on the FIRST PLAY after the kick return, and lead the Tigers to a touchdown! That series set the tone for the whole game IMO.
