I feel like it would have been more fitting to have him on the SI cover after the Alabama game with the way he balled out and led the team to a complete victory.

That uniform is iconic. It screams “LSU.” Like the McDonald’s arches, the Campbell’s red and white can, and the Coca-cola font. You see it, and it immediately registers. Even a casual football fan knows that that’s an LSU player. It’s why we should only sparingly (if at all) use alternate uniforms.
