I was gonna point out the same thing. While the Texas game will be pretty nuts, I really think it will be kinda down with the tailgating exp. It will be hotter than a freshly fricked fox in a forest fire, so I feel the tailgates will not go all out like they do once the weather cools down a bit.

Several times over the past few years the Bama game is the penultimate tailgating exp. I think the last game I was able to make had like 250,000 people on campus and the tailgates were unreal. it's like they decided to just say frick it and set up arse-kicking tailgates.

I exaggerated somewhat, but they are scarce and their price quadrupled compared to 10 years ago (pre-BP).

Car Bombs at Ivars. Lunch @ Chimes or Sammy’s. Hangover meal at Parrains on your way out Sunday!

Walk the parade grounds. Go to the Greek Amphitheater. Mikes Cage. Walk around campus. Find a tailgate near the Indian mounds, tell someone you’re from out of town, and prepare to enjoy yourself. Drink plenty of bourbon.

Watch the band/team walk down the hill. Get into the stadium 30 minutes early. Soak it all in.
