Sorry, but I don't buy that. Not with NIL the way it is. Also, who's to say that Michigan won't revamp their staff in the next year or so? I hope Underwood stands firm with us, but it won't surprise me if he flips. Dave Portnoy isn't playing around.

Why wouldnt he?

Joe is not gonna want to read one day that Bruce would have followed him anywhere, but never offered

Sure he will offer him but there's no way that Bryce goes to ECU. You seem confident he will get that HC position?

Not sure. We will talk about it tomorrow when another new thread is created.

Joe Sloan is more than likely headed to his alma mater, ECU. He will make a play there for Underwood, but knows its only a Hail Mary. Michigan will then scoop Underwood up with gobs of NIL money

Shea Dixon stated this week that Bryce has yet to step on the Michigan campus since Harbaugh left a year and a half ago. Bryce's Dad has stated that he is picking a school to get him ready for the NFL not a large payday. Having said that LSU is probably paying 4.5-5M for a four-year deal.

Bryce got Gordon

Hes #1 on their list

He played QB for them, and developed a Heisman candidate here. They arent looking too hard elsewhere. Think Jerry Stovall coming back to LSU

Bryce has been committed to LSU for 300+ days and now Michigan is making a push to steal him from us. Do we think he will stay?

I don’t know, but the state of Michigan is good at stealing

If he wants to be developed into a Heisman candidate and be a top draft pick, why would he choose Michigan over LSU?

I used to pore over recruiting info. Now I don't even pay attention until signing day, and then I just take a cursory glance. Whoever steps on the field in September is whoever steps on the field.

Low information post.

Talent at a single position cannot cover a lack of talent across many positions. Sure, Daniels won a Heisman, but LSU did not have a defense.

When Underwood arrives, LSU's defense will have increased with a Top Five and a Top Two/One classes worth of talent.

Believe it or not, sometimes the Jimmys and the Joes make a difference.

A trusted source w the University of Michigan said $5MM is on the table for him to come to Ann Arbor and play for the Wolverines. It appears LSU and Michigan will be in a bidding war. Michigan is prepared to match/beat any LSU offer. Let the real games begin! Welcome to BIG time college recruiting. Geaux Tigers!

How many times does it had to be said that he doesn’t care about money. He is already sold on LSU with the idea that he will be similar to JD5 (which he is) but with a more polished deep ball at this stage.

It’s all people who haven’t paid attention to his recruiting that are worried.

He literally skipped the Elite 11 to come here for an unofficial visit on a random weekend (meaning he and his family paid their own way).

The kid has been all LSU. He hasn’t even been on any other official visits (or unofficial for that matter).
