Bryant-Denny's piped in music is worse than Tiger Stadium's

I thought ours was bad. Non-stop rap music blaring the whole game. It really didn't matter what the genre was.It was the whole game. Other than at halftime I never heard Alabama's band once.

Yes, is that stupid redhead still screaming at the fans?

If we won that much you could pipe in nickelback all game, every game in Tiger Stadium.

I think it's one of the best in the conference. Granted I know it isn't organic crowd noise.
Nevertheless, the fans know when to cheer and know when to be quiet.

I've heard from friends at Alabama that Nick selects the music that's played in the stadium and every song gets his approval and he has rules for what song can be played when and after certain plays. For example 3 and long gets a different song and sacks get a specific song depending on the score and quarter. He controls everything. He even selected the elephant sounds and has specific instructions on when to play it and under what circumstances.

It’s because their band sucks arse. You’d want piped in music over them too

The strength coach yelling on the big board was even worse

Would make a good GameDay sign, or perhaps a t-shirt.

It sounded pretty constant on tv

When LSU was on offense there was music nonstop from the second the play ended till right before the snap. When Bama was on offense they had a mix of their band playing and music. It is certainly a nonstop noise being pumped through the speakers with little to no crowd noise. ITs just a completely different environment, but it does make me appreciate how special tiger stadium is. At no point does it come close to the crowd noise at a bama game in Baton Rouge. Visually it looks great though and they are much better at keeping updated stats and general information.

I went two years ago and wasn't impressed at all with the stadium and atmosphere, the people I talked to were nice....
I had a FAR better time at Legends...

The Aubern game we didn't. Mind the music at all , it gave the band a break from playing their arse off all game in that heat.

LSU got it right for the Auburn game. It was a great blend of band and music. Hope that becomes the norm and not the anomaly

It has really gotten bad over there. At one point, they were blasting band music on the speakers. Not amplifying the band as it played, just playing recorded music played by the band. It was so dumb.

They do the same thing as Florida – they play music when we have the ball and are trying to huddle up to get a play call. It’s an attempt to distract the opposing team. When they have the ball it’s just band and cheers.

There's a reason why Bryant Denny, despite its capacity of 100k, never comes up when the top atmospheres and most iconic stadiums of CFB are mentioned.
