So the possibility of losing twice to LSU in the same season doesn't put "added pressure" on Saban & Co? Gotcha.

No. Losing twice just means you deserve it. No bitching. We won't be able to make excuses. No one would listen to them anyway. LSU would be hands down the best team. Just go back to the drawing board and try to do better next year.

But LSU will always know what could/should have been.

You can lie to yourself, but you can't lie to me.
If CLM beats Saban twice in one year with "the best team he's ever had" the heat will be turned up in Tuscaloosa.

I think Les is an outstanding Coach and deserves all the accolades he earns through winning.

I get so tired of all the Saban flaming and faux posturing.

Yeah, I'd say he would deserve that spot. I don't think LSU wins but if they do I don't mind calling him that.

How else can you explain the #1 rank on defense in so many categories?

Bama's defense is great but it's ranking has been helped by it's weak schedule compared to LSU's.

Agreed, if LSU and bama switched season schedules, LSU coasts all year and bama is at best cotton/capital one bowl.

Hmmmm... you do realize that LSU is ranked #2 in all but one defensive catagory and LSU played the Rose Bowl and Orange Bowl Champions... Bama didn't? WVU scored 70 and Oregon scored 45 in their bowl games against the ACC and Big 10 Champs. Arkansas was healthier when they played LSU and LSU played UGA with a potent passing attack. That in my opinion explains Bama ranked #1 in defense and LSU ranked #2. I really haven't seen anything to make me believe that Bama's defense is better than LSU's defense but we each have our opinion. Guess we'll find out in 4 days.

BS. All anyone, even us Bama fans, can ask for is to be in the hunt every year. All Bama fans I know say Saban has done a phenomenal job regardless of the outcome Jan10. The only thing different would be a new found (not new for me) respect for Les Miles. But you can't go 47-6 in 4 years at Bama and lose any respect because you lost one out of 2 NC's. Not going to happen with anyone except maybe our dumbest 1% of fans.

Do you just sit around and make shite up? LSU is #8 in pass defense and #3 in rush defense. Passing and rushing are pretty important stats don't you think?

Not really when you're up by 30+ or so in the fourth quarter and just letting a no-huddle Big East team play pitch and catch between the 20s for the last 15 minutes, so that you can catch a bus to the airport to go home with the W by 4 TDs.

He will have won his 2nd NC and beaten one of the few other active 2 time NC winners 3 times in a row. Not to mention its the best Saban team ever.

youre 2009 team was more complete and better. This team has the better defense, oline and rbs.
