Dude you defended Jussie. Let that sink in.

As for me, I thought that the cops were assholes. However, I also understand their justification for doing what they did.

To be clear, Koy was momentarily stupid (hiding, being belligerent and argumentative) and the cops were over the top (drawing their weapons).

The cops were “overly cautious.”

Koy was pissed at the circumstances.

Both seem legit to me given the circumstances.

Just my .02.

What’s wrong with profiling? If rattlesnakes are known to bite wouldn’t you take extra precautions if you run into a rattlesnake?

Youve caught enough hell for one thread for your ignorance, but I'd like to add one more thing.

You are what's wrong with America. You have folks from all walks of life telling you "yeh, there aint anything to this" and yet you still come and post some feelsy bullshite as if it's fact. Time for you to wake up and speak out against arse hats like koy instead of wallowing in victimhood.

I don't think anything that happened on camera was unreasonable. Koy was probably a little scared and wanted his camera phone rolling.

The cops work in Baton Rouge, and were approaching two young black men who were hiding and had their hands in their pockets.

I'd have been scared if I was anybody in that situation. Regardless, they all seemed to handle it pretty well, considering.

It was Koy inventing a story later on that was a problem.

Yes, and that was what started the whole thing.
If he believed that he was treated unfairly and cops were out of line, he should have filed a complaint and it would have been investigated just as it was. However, he added “flavor” to the story and that puts him in the wrong.

Obviously, this kid lied & tried to sensationalize the “confrontation”. We are seeing a generation of very weak-minded young people. Sad to see

It's got nothing to do with his age or what generation he belongs to. There are plenty of weak minded people in the 3 generations preceeding his, all of which are very active in promoting a culture of zero self-accountability and blame-shifting.

So based on what I saw in the video Koy Moore LIED. He was not embellishing a situation. HE LIED. This is what happens when BLM Bullcrap is pushed on these young people on a daily basis.

If a Police Officer asks you to stop and put your hands on a car then that does not mean for you to hide, put your hands in your pocket, take shitt out of your pocket,
and ignore the Police instructions.

This situation was nothing like the report on the News and alleged by Koy Moore himself. If anyone needs a reprimand it is Koy Moore.

Let me ask you something, why should Koy Moore care about the cops perspective?

Did the cops care about his?

He told a very one sided exaggerated story, but the basic facts were accurate.

You can excuse the cops behavior all you want and say it’s justified, but Koy Moore doesn’t have to care.

People wanting him punished are simpletons.

Why would anyone like this situation?

You approve of innocent people getting guns pointed in their face?

Based on your logic, why should anyone care about your perspective? Why should anyone care about anyone else’s perspective? Because that’s how the world works you immature child.

If I lock myself out of my home or my office late at night and I’m walking around in the dark checking to see if I left any windows open I know it’s completely innocent. It’s MY property. However, I HAVE to be aware that others may perceive me as a threat, especially law enforcement. You’re a fool and not very intelligent to suggest people shouldn’t care about the perspective of others.

You shouldn’t but so far no one is calling for me to get kicked off the football team.

Love the “if a cop shot me entering my own home I’d be ok with it. Their safety is important” crowd.

You’re as believable as the guy who said he’d thank the cops if he were Moore.

In regards to police actions, there are two ways to judge them.

You can use the facts that are presented in real time, from the officers point of view, during the engagement.

Or.....

You can wait until after the event and use the facts that only came up after the interaction.

I think they showed how much they cared after Moore said he was scared and they explained that because Moore wasn't doing what they told him to that they felt afraid for their safety as well.

Why is this an option but not using the facts from Moore’s perspective?

Moore’s tweet is getting dragged but it’s closer to the truth than what the cops out in their report, which was nothing.
