I had a gun drawn on me and I followed commands from the moment I was stopped. I was searched way worse than the video. I was respectful and they explained the situation and after realizing the misunderstanding let me go. I guess forgot to make the social media post and hire a lawyer. shite
Happens.
Happens.

Valiant effort, SammyTiger, but you’re shouting into the void. As soon as any doubt was cast on Moore’s story, as soon as there was any room for interpretation, the vast majority of people on this website were going to condemn him. I don’t know how many posts you’ve read lately, but there is zero chance of him getting the benefit of the doubt from this crowd.
I think That’s been one of my points. People are nitpicking some details like everything didn’t happens
Most of this crowd claimed he made it all up and now that the video proves it happened they want to take the 10% that isn’t exactly the same and pretend they’re right.
There is literally nothing these cops could have done that would have turned some of these guys.

One of you literally said he would thank the cop for pulling the gun on him.
That’s cuck behavior.

Wow, what a non-incident. Talk about a mountain out of a mole hill.

Isn’t exactly the same? Will you even be honest and admit he lied? If the cops lied then you wouldn’t be describing it in that way.

That’s not the case. Even if it were, that’s irrelevant because we aren’t dealing in hypotheticals, rather how this situation actually occurred.

I think it’s pretty clear why Koy lied. He knew idiots like SammyTiger would defend him regardless of the facts because he’s black. Very disappointing behavior once again from an LSU athlete.

If the cops had violated Koi's civil rights that would have turned me. As it is, the officers made a lawful stop. A stop well within Constitutional bounds the USSC established in Terry v. Ohio. Under the circumstances, drawing the primary weapon was warranted, they did not get roughed up, were not handcuffed, and were ultimately released without arrest.
Koi and friend could have easily avoided this by not furtively lurking behind cars in a desolate parking garage, at 2:00 a.m. when the police approached. When confronted by the police, they could have complied, but chose not to. Perhaps you believe someone has the right to hide from view as the police approach, well Terry is the law of the land and it says you don't.
So, Sammy your arguments are pointless. Your disagreement is not with the police it is with the law itself. You'd do far better by writing less on TD and writing your legislators more, as they are the ones that can change the law. Until then, obey the law as it is now and you'll be fine. I think you're a troll though, no one can be this thick.

I think that there could have been damning body cam evidence to convince some reasonable people. When Moore’s attorney didn’t push for the release of this footage earlier, it was clear that the evidence wasn’t especially damning.
People who think that cops are predisposed to being overly aggressive and profiling black people, are going to have their opinions confirmed by this video. People who think that cops are unjustly vilified for being aggressive with suspects who don’t show enough supplication, are going to have their opinions confirmed by this video.

I'm about as neutral on police matters as anyone, and you're wrong. I've been treated worse than that by cops and didn't do shite.
Moore is probably a good kid, but he got carried away here.

Terry v. Ohio says you have to have reasonable suspicion they committed a crime and are armed.
“ the police officer must be able to point to specific and articulable facts which, taken together with rational inferences from those facts, reasonably warrant [the] intrusion.”
Hiding in a garage is the only fact they have and no other evidence of a crime.
They’re in very gray waters.

You can have a stop based off reasonable suspicion of a crime. You can also have a stop that turns into a pat down if someone does not obey a lawful order and then reaches for an unknown object. That would give the officers enough to believe that the person was possibly armed.

If they had evidence of a crime then they would have probable cause to charge him with a crime. That’s not the standard that had to be met and so evidence is not needed.

Plenty of people defending Moore
And even a few level headed people saying let’s wait for the footage.
