I would say pulling your gun on innocent civilians is wrong but police are allowed to do whatever so long as they’re scared and suspicious.
You need to read up on Vicky Wax.

Making me less safe so they can feel safer isn’t a great compromise.
You’re ignoring the other option. They could have just put their hands on their car.

So after watching the video Koy Moore was actually right. This a-hole cop pulled his gun on him and started yelling at him for no reason. We really need to curb the authority cops have in this country. We dont give meter maids guns why should we give them to traffic cops and glorified security guards.

There were 9 unarmed black people shot by cops in 2019. Most of them were attacking the cops. This is a losing argument for you. They had 1 black person kill 5 cops in Dallas in one day by himself in 2016.

Another problem in that community that, ironically enough, is largely a result of the current presidents crime bill. A guy most blacks voted for

I would say, they should have thanked the cops for doing their jobs and be thankful things didn’t get out of hand

You’re a fricking joke if you pretend would thank a cop for frisking you.

Things did get out of hand. Guns were pulled

I mean if you are the right skin color you can murder a grandfather while stealing his car and get no jail time. Do people think Moore is going to get any repercussions? Hell, he will likely get an award for this and starting a conversation.

So if there wasn’t a murder or gunshots. Why not avoid a potentially lethal situation?

If you call the cops, do you expect them to show up? They were called, they showed up. Going over and asking people to turn down the noise can have some pretty bad results. The irony is that you would probably then be stating that,

“They should have called the police!”

If I call the cops for a 200 person party I dont Expaxt them to shake down everyone in the garage.

Or really anyone.

Just tell them to leave.

That’s isn’t what was happening

Again, the cops weren’t breaking up the party when this happened. So.

All you’re points are fricking irrelevant.

Exactly who do you think it is that’s made parts of BR and NOLA absolutely uninhabitable and celebrated as much? Old white guys? Middle aged Latinos? Asians? Jews?

True if it is fellow community members with the guns.

Has Moore shot up a playground?

Oh wait.

I guess Every black teenager should expect to be treated like a gangbanger without complaint.

“The cops weren’t profiling but who do you think shoots cops? BLACK TEENS! But the cops weren’t profiling”

Not what I said.

As far as Koy Moore, my thoughts are that if I got stopped and frisked for no good reason I'd be pissed. And I really wouldn't like it if I had guns drawn on me. I'd probably complain to social media too.

As for the cops, I get their apprehension. In this case they were over the top imho. Still, there is no way I would be a police officer in this day and age. There are just too many pitfalls. I say that as a father that had police officers pull guns in both of my sons. Once was absolute bullshite, the other time...while I didn’t appreciate at all, I understood why he did it.

Just my .02.

What you said was irrelevant unless you want to suggest the cops were profiling.

I am Not saying crime doesn’t exist I am Saying there wasn’t a crime going on when Moore was stopped.
