Kyle Anderson was clearly at fault. The two situations are incomparable. We don't know who Kyle Anderson is in this case. If we did, we could all go about our day.

As long as it remains he said and he said with no independent witness, as it seems the police are saying now, this case never sees court. imo

Except, the police said there will most likely be arrests at the conclusion of this investigation.

Bingo!

Here are the facts:

1. There was a fight
2. 4 people were injured
3. Those injuries are apparent and clear
4. Those injured accused certain football players
5. Other witnesses accused the football players

6. The football players denied it

= Enough to be charged.

Think about this: a women accuses a man of battery and shows her injuries to the cops. No one saw it, but charges would be filed.

In this case, there are multiple witnesses with the only denials being the players (as reported at this point).

This is an oversimplification of the legal process. I believe the BPRD has provided the known facts to the DA who has, in turn, told the BPRD to continue investigating and gathering facts. The DA will ultimately decide the offense or offenses that it believes were committed and can be proven.

JJ laying it on the line for trim makes more sense than anything I've read on the rant.

If so, something is wrong. He's the starting QB for LSU. He should be able to have his pick of women.

The point remains. The fact that there was a fight, injuries, and witnesses is enough to charge, not necessarily convict

The Baton Rouge DA is not going to bring this to court *unless* he is 100% sure he can convict. NO WAY he does that!

I doubt they will be able to determine who caused the fracture. Do you kick off all 4? I don't think so. If they do find out who did, that's a different story, but I'm not familiar enough with what Kyle did to say that is equivalent to this.

Did they say it would be the players or the victims?

Obviously. I'm not going to write out the entire legal process detail by detail on a message board.

It's not just "he" said "he" said. The actual injuries, regardless of what happened, serve as evidence against the players. The same logic is used in domestic violence cases.

Yes. Except that in this instance, you don't know who CAUSED the injuries.

Why is it that everyone seems to forget that the question is who caused the injuries. It's not whether they were injured. We all concede they are injured.

I don't think that is a fact. They may just have a different reason for who & what started the aggressive behavior between all the people involved.

They could arrest all of them for all we know. Btw, I like how you won't/can't answer my question.

He can charge ALL parties with La. statute 14:103.3. Will not need a victim.

Won't matter who started it. No doubt there was a fight. Both sides have admitted to it.

JJ was friends with the girl Liz and Lowery her ex would not stop messing with her. So she asked JJ and his friends to handle it and they did, but the "victims" were Lowery and his friends and they were just as much to blame for the fight starting as anyone. Lowery was in no way an innocent bystander, and all the "victims" know each other. I do not know who threw the first punch but Lowery's actions are what caused it.

He was kicked off the team due to his history not just the final incident. He was a habitual line-stepper that Lowery would idolize.

Relax EricB. In the long run nobody gets away with anything. We know somebody is lying because stories are conflicting on both sides. Lack of character issues have a way of following you around your whole life. Look at Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Perriloux. This goes for both sides players and the others involved. If their are character issues with any of these players they will resurface again and again going forward.
