for a murder, rape, more serious crime, sure. for a fight between a bunch of drunk college kids, i disagree. it's a waste of time really for the legal system and all people involved in the investigation who could spend their efforts on more important matters. but hey, it's lsu football, everyone wants their time in the spotlight

True. Automatic suspensions of some sort are going to be handed out regardless just because of this imo.

I have no clue. Neither do you. I also never said that it did. Comprehend things better. If yall want to chalk it up to a simple bar fight and believe undoubtedly that's what happened, then go for it. Nobody can stop you. But that also doesn't change the facts, whatever they are. I just pointed out the other side, that anybody could right now say that the players teamed up on some dude and beat him, for whavever reason (whether they were antagonized or not). Somebody saying that has just as much right as you do saying it was a simple "bar fight." You, and the few others of your beliefs, that are dead set on it being a simple "bar fight" with nothing to it and the big, bad football players just beat up some drunk kid as though you know for sure it was just some random fight between college kids because that's what you want to have happened are kinda silly.

shite they don't even investigate stolen cars to this level. i was robbed, had about 5,500 worth of stuff stolen. cops came over, looked around, filled out a report, and i never heard from them again. i knew i wouldn't, only reason i even bothered is because i needed a report for insurance purposes. but hey, let's spend 2 weeks on a drunk bar fight.

1) a lot are assuming the broken vertebrae are in the neck.
2) people are assuming the broken vertebrae are result of the fight.
this kid has been in some trouble in the past, his prior meds may be beneficial in determining the injuries claimed were caused by the fight or by something prior.
