No it's done.
I did cliffnotes:

"End of the investigation may result in arrest"
3 fractured vertebrae on one, and another guy has head contusions and contusions on his hands, police will not speculate whether it was trying to defend himself or hitting someone.
Nothing proves any racial slurs were used.
Each player was marandized together and then individually in the interview rooms. The order each investigator took a player in to interview is unknown.
At least 12 more witnesses to interview.
talked to players for approximately 2 hours.
players brought additional witnesses

if you hit someone, all they have to prove is intent to harm. if intent to harm is there, you're liable for the total damage caused. you can't say, "i just meant to bust his lip, not break his jaw," doesn't work that way. you'd also be liable if you swung at someone with intent to harm, missed, and connected with someone else by accident.
