That's why businesses and educational institutions will get sued like crazy when all the side affects come out.
unfortunately when you get the vaccines you are required to sign a hold harmless waiver, so if there are side effects for these people they have waived their rights to sue

This is probably the final straw for you inbred rednecks to denounce the entire football team and boycott every game. since you idiots believe everything you read on facebook, some of you need the vaccine cause you dont need to reproduce.

the irony of Sankey's threats yesterday is besides the actual brands of the member schools the biggest asset of the conference are the games. So this idiot is saying that even if you adhere to the policy and your team has an outbreak (which even vaccinated people can test positive) the games will not be rescheduled. Do everything right, have an outbreak, forfeit the game any way.
Brilliant
So he is considering devaluing the Conference's most valuable assets and the integrity of the season for a grandstanding message of compliance.

Why don’t they just vaccinate everybody on the team and be done with it ?

All vaccines have risk but the facts are they're astronomically low in comparison to getting the virus without one.
You don't know that and the numbers are starting to say it is just the opposite.
This is just one of my friends ho has been vaccinated and then got the Corona. This is in a group texting we were having about doing lunch.
These are snippets of the texts. He was talking about other stuff - selling his house and moving and how the virus affected him. These are only the comments about his Covid and vaccination. Some comments were answering questions from other group members

"I found out today that I have COVID so I am out for a while
Yeah, I had all the symptoms. I got vaccinated min April with the J&J one shot. That shot got me sick for 5 days.
I was sick throughout the entire process but had no choice but to keep going. Everything I have hurts. It is like a horrible chest cold along with a sinus infection with a dash of flu. It has been a horrible experience."

Yes, it's a risk but you have higher risks falling over dead with covid even if you're healthy than a fricking vaccine.
The most at risk have already died. Many at the hands of the NYC mayor. So going forward you are wrong. My friend wishes they never had the vaccine. Some of his family had corona and faired much better than he did.

US is one of the best places if not the best place in the world to get vaccinated
Good and it should be. BUT, ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE RISK AND TAKE A PROTEIN ALTERING mRNA SUBSTANCE THAT IS UN-APPROVED BY "incredibly stringent policies and check the process"

Be thankful you have a wonderful healthcare system here.
No problem with it as long as others who have no clue what the long-term or even short-term affects don't try to force me to risk my life.
And yes, they do put warning labels on cigarettes. BUT, your school, employer and government don't force you to smoke them.

What you aren’t understanding is that if a team is 85% vaccinated, they do not have to test players or staff members and they do not have to wear masks in the facilities. Which means, no positives and no testing. You want LSU to be at 100%. That’s an advantage

That's all this has been about for months now.
Just like the CWS and North Carolina State. If the NC(CDC)AA followed the science, Vanderbilt would have been disqualified by contact tracing since they had just played NCSU.

3. Vaccines arent 100% effective. Only one vaccine has been 100% effective and that was the polio vaccine. Is polio still around? Nah it isn’t. So vaccines do work, dumb fook.
You are the dumb fook. This is not a vaccine. IT IS A MEDICAL TREATMENT. It kills covid in your system for a LIMITED TIME, and provides no immunity later on like a vaccine does.
Furthermore, mRNA "vaccines" have been trying for approval for 30 years AND HAVE NEVER been approved BECAUSE THEY CAUSE auto-immune disease. They are not safe. The guy who invented them says they aren't safe.
Finally the whole point is that the government and employers do not have a right to force these "vaccines" on people because they ARE NOT SAFE. I don't care if 90% or 99.9% of people take them with no ill effects, it is our choice whether my family and I take them and risk being 1 of the .1% or not.

If the vaccine works, why does one care if someone else got it or not?

They have to put a warning on there just like they put a warning about cancer on cigarettes and dip cans.
I and my entire family have been vaccinated. I think it is a smart and reasonable decision to get vaccinated; HOWEVER, there is a big difference between the side effect warnings of the vaccine and smoking/dipping.
In the case of smoking/dipping it is a completely voluntary decision that is almost universally accepted as harmful. It is known by everyone (even people who partake in this activity) that they are dramatically increasing their chances of illness. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, promotes these activities as healthy.
In the case of the vaccine it is not a completely voluntary decision (i.e. if you want to work here you must get vaccinated), and is being encouraged by virtually every mainstream outlet (media and political).
If the warning is valid (and I don't know if it is), then every media pundit and every politician who encouraged (or virtually shamed) citizens to get the vaccine should be held to account.

what you are not understanding is if any members of the program either vaccinated or not show COVID symptoms they are going to be tested and if there is enough of them that are sick the game could be forfeited. Regardless of the percentage of members of the program that are vaccinated.
that is asinine

What’s the point of a vaccination if you still have to be worried about people who are not vaccinated?
Everyone has had the opportunity to vaccinate so the people who have not gotten it have made the decision to not get it.

That's a question that apparently never gets asked in conference, school board and corporate meetings.
This is now just a power trip some people and some idiots were given and they are refusing to give it up.

People like you should be prevented from having children and if you do seed the world, they should take your children away. You're incredibly ignorant. I don't know even now where to begin on that post. I'll just let you live in your own world.

The SEC is not planning to postpone or cancel games due to COVID-19 this season, commissioner Greg Sankey said Monday. If games are not postponed, SEC teams could have to forfeit if they have an outbreak that prevents them from playing.
"We have not built in the kind of time we did last year, particularly at the end of the season, to accommodate (postponements)," Sankey said of the conference's schedule. "And unless we're going to do that, our teams are going to have to be fully prepared to play their games as scheduled."
Sankey said the policy, along with the potential removal of roster minimums, is not official. Asked whether forfeits could be mandated, he replied, "It’s on my mind, because what are you going to do to dispose of the game?"
The commissioner also urged teams to boost their vaccination rates, noting that six of the 14 SEC football teams have reached 80 percent vaccination.
"That number needs to grow and grow rapidly," Sankey said. "... You hope to not have disruptions, but hope is not a plan."
"Vaccines are an important and incredible product of science," he added. "Not a political football. And we need to do our part to support a healthy society."
Four SEC games were postponed in one week last November after several teams had outbreaks.

If you are over 85% vaccinated, you dont have to test anyone. ANYONE
