Brian Thomas Jr. only had 2 catches for 7 yards yesterday, does anyone have any idea why he didn’t have more targets?

Daniels threw the ball to other players.

Lacy was getting open and catching the ball.

BTJ did nothing wrong. They were keying on him.

Maybe he wasn't getting open?

It happens sometimes its not your night.

They could have also been making it a point to get Lacey more work because he needs it?

Can you point to where the offense struggled? Yesterday other guys were open, and the run game was gashing Auburn.

Brian Thomas is fine. He just wasn’t needed yesterday as everyone else was going off.

Is he supposed to have 100 yards and 2 TDs every game?

Auburn's game plan was to eliminate him. They had him bracketed with a safety all night. They did what they set out to do and Lacey filled in nicely in his place.

Auburns safety’s rotated toward him every time he went deep. That led lacy to be wide open on posts and digs. That’s what makes this offense nearly unstoppable. When lsu establishes the run like they did last night…they are unstoppable.

They shifted LBs over to his side of the field on every down. This freed up Lacy.

I don’t like Lacy’s hands or ball security after the catch. He makes me grip. He did have a good game last night but I hope we find another 3rd receiver.

Lacy is a mega talent. Just needs to work on his focus for the easy catches. His ability to run after he has the ball is elite.

Yes. But that's b/c I bet the over for him (68.5 yards) and a td. So I'm bitter that he didn't have a better game.

Auburn is pretty good defensively and JD threw to open wrs.

And for the people who say JD doesn’t go through his progressions last night showed he does.

78.5 would have been nice last night for my parlay

I just needed him to get 50 yards and he got 7. I didn’t need a 100 yard game or a TD, just 50 yards receiving game. Matt House and coaches should be more considerate of fans that have skin in the game and make sure that all of guys eat every weekend

Matt House usually does let many of the offensive players eat

Plan for Auburn was pretty clear. Try to take away Nabers and Thomas as much as possible and make someone else beat you. Lacy was that someone else.

I just wish he would he would run upfield after a catch, for some reason he always runs back toward the line of scrimmage after catching the ball.

Because Lacy was playing good so they went with the hit hand.
