He’s telling you he has no problem pulling the trigger on tough decisions if it will fix the problem.

Disagree

Look at the first quote, he’s telling you that if there’s a tough personnel change needed, he’ll do it and won’t drag it out. By him not firing house already shows he doesn’t feel it’s on House… No DL coach, multitude of injuries.

How can anyone read that and not come to the conclusion that it says "House is staying, but if I have to fire him 3 games into the '24 season, I wont have a problem doing that."

Because I'm not retarded, and I read (and listened) to the rest of what he said about professionals being under contract and having to fulfill their obligations and responsibilities. I took that to mean recruiting and coaching through the bowl game. House may not get fired, but just because he hasn't been yet is no real indication that he's definitely not. I mean, do y'all actually think every single defensive coach will be back next year? Kelly hasn't fired any of them yet. Why would the same logic applied to the position coaches not apply to House as well?

Forget about Bama, if House is back we need to prepare for teams like Ole Miss, USC and Oklahoma to score 50 on us. Has Kelly really ever fired anyone?

Something's gotta give if Kelly thinks he likes the attrition at Dline and also likes House and we were close to dead last in defense.

I don't think Van Gorder was in his wedding, not that it even matters. Denbrock was, and he'll be calling plays at ND next year....SMH

Are you just being dense on purpose.

I am as frustrated with our D as most, but the House firing or such is kinda tricky, House called some really good games in 2022 and we had a good enough to good defense....then this shite in 2023. I would not be surprised if we field a good or better than average D in 2024 with House at the helm.

Dense on purpose?? Those teams put up points!! If we thought it was bad watching UF and Ole Miss last year....USC and Oklahoma are even better on that side of the ball.

Look at the CBs on next year’s roster & get back to me. Anyone with a real QB is going to do what they want against us next year. If house is retained he’ll be gone midway through next season.

The ones we played this year in zone schemes they did not understand with safeties incapable to help. CB is not and will not be the primary issue.

Proper coaching by the DB coach and being able to actually implement a myriad of zone coverages effectively will be key. You arent beating Ole Miss, Bama, or others playing man. Just isnt happening.

You ever have kids, and coach kids? You coach and coach and teach and teach and then they go and do the opposite.....that is the expression you saw.

Now, why the players could or would not implement the changes needed, that is a different question.

Third game? House should have not lasted three games then.

I give House another year. 2022 was good. 2023 was horrendous. 2022 had veterans and highly successful transfers. 2023 had sub-SEC caliber transfers, injuries, and inexperience. It's put up or shut up in 2024.
