There’s some degree of truth in every post on the thread. My take on the differences between O and BK: when O lost a coach or coordinator he couldn’t replace them with the same quality of coach because these guys knew they couldn’t learn anything from him. That’s not the case with BK. Sure he got the guy from the saints, but he had Burrow to work with.
yes, and even Brady was told by Sean Payton he's making a mistake to go work for him.
And Payton would have been right except for Joe Burrow.

I don't know Melvin, or you P&G, but can someone explain to me how Melvin is a racist for posting Lol? Is Melvin white or black? How is Lol racist? Where is any reference to race?

Brian Kelly has designed, built and pushed all the right buttons for a winning program. That is a quote that exudes control.
Ed Orgeron has pushed as many buttons, pulled as many levers, and flipped as many switches with hope for another 2019 or "Joe Brady's offense". His quote is full of words that were repeated over and over, exuding lack of control.
I liked Coach O. Still do. But I am glad (very) that BK is our man!

Hate O all you want but when fans think guys who have coached the game for their entire life don't know the game or how to fix issues it's beyond stupid.
Do what? 0 had no fricking clue what to do to fix the issues his leadership caused Did you just stop following the program after 2019?

Trout is apparently somehow still on the payroll. Don't expect legit answers to your post.

Homeboy I dare you to say that again after Labor Day weekend Geaux Tigers

Yes, so stellar they were fired.

No point in arguing with anyone that still insists upon defending Ed.
He was a horrible program manager, it’s just not debatable.

Love everything Kelly is doing/saying so far, but he’s right. Everyone is expecting this team to be on the next level

Regarding O and Les, you and I must have a different interpretation of the word "stellar". So Chizek and Coker were stellar coaches too since they also won a championship?
Les was better than O or Chizik. Please don't lump him in with those guys.

Normally you have to hand it to someone for sticking to their convictions, but someone would have to be personally invested in Ed O himself to still be white knighting for him on the internet this long after he was shitcanned.

and got great coordinators hired too and let them coach.
No.

There’s nothing wrong with the Orgeron quote if that was only once, but hearing it week after week was a real kick in the nuts
Even then, it’s not the quote. It’s the inability to coach that was the kick in the nuts.
Likewise, the only thing that matters is whether the team is well coached. Kelly’s statements on the subject can be perfect. But it won’t matter if the truth is something else.

Say what you will, but our last three coaches were all stellar coaches.
