Kelly said evaluations for coaches and staff will take place "over the next week to 10 days."

quote:

Kelly: "We had some struggles, certainly on the defensive side of the ball. We talked about them every day. We know where the problems are and what needs to be addressed. We’ll sit down and we’ll have to make decisions as to what is the best thing for our program moving forward."

But what about all the people posting their first post ever not revealing their sources? And Jordy said House will be back. He’s never wrong

No sources, but 7-10 days seems like we are possibly waiting for someone that may be coaching in their conference championship…

That would be relevant if we were searching for a new coach. We wouldn’t wait to fire a current coach. That doesn’t make sense.

I’m not a Jordy fan at all, but Hanny said something very similar to him. Moscona said he doesn’t know if House will be fired, which is a change of tune from him saying Saturday that there is no way House is retained. There’s a reason that all of these LSU media guys are changing their stance all of a sudden.

This is a new era of LSU football. The days of Les Miles, Joe Alleva and Orgeron are over. I truly believe only a select few people know what decision will be made. LSU used to be a circus. No longer the case.

you are correct and one of the reasons is bc lsu has no opponents for the best 4 weeks and they need talking points

We are giving House a chance to find a job and “leave”. That way we don’t pay buyout and his image isn’t as tarred. He won’t be retained.

I mean there are plenty of other talking points to where you don’t have to change your entire position on if House will be retained or not.

Early signing period for recruits has everything to do with this.

Do you really believe any of those guys have some kind of inside tip? Especially when it pertains to something as big coaching changes?.They literally have as much knowledge as we do regarding Kelly's intentions for staff changes. Their insights is derived solely from whatever bits and pieces they pick up during his pressers. Anything that comes out of any sports talk guy around here is purely speculation, nothing more nothing less. Trust me, if Kelly's plan is to hire a new DC, he’ll go out and get his guy, and once the deal is finalized we will all know when he makes the official announcement.

At this time, what is the advantage of not firing House now, should that be what BK has decided? If he wants to keep him, go ahead and say so. What more data does he need to decide whether to keep House or not?

Moscona said he was told there would be multiple personnel changes on the defensive staff, but that his source didn’t say whether House would be one of them.

He then went on to talk about all of the reasons he doesn’t think House should be retained.

Is that really a “change of tune?”

ETA: This is a serious question as I have no idea what he said on Saturday.

You are 100% correct, unless it’s already been agreed on under the table. Not saying this is the case, but in todays climate, who the frick really knows anymore

The only possible reason for waiting is to let House “ leave” on his terms , wich I think is soft on Kelly’s part.

Mods are deleting threads and post revolving around anything negative about BK. This site is becoming a joke.

If House is fired, then it’s obvious to administrations around the country that LSU is in search of a D-coordinator. That means that smart ADs/head coaches would be offering extensions/raises to guys that might come to LSU. If you wait to fire House and immediately announce his replacement, you blindside schools that might otherwise have had a chance to lock their guy down.
