Jackson And butler were big finds,the other guys add depth. I know everyone is expecting us to find 10 impact players but the truth is 2-4 is prolly a big deal

There aren’t any true superstars in the portal this year. That’s because there haven’t been any coaching shakeups at big programs or conference realignment changes that are typically the cause for players that level to be on the market. There’s no Cam Ward. No Will Howard. No Dillon Gabriel. No Walter Nolan. No Judkins. You have proven guys from lower programs or unproven guys from bigger ones and that’s pretty much it.
This class is filled guys who have the potential to step up and be starters or good depth pieces and rotation guys. That’s what we need. We don’t require an entire roster replacement like Ole Myth does.

A positive is that we’ve held onto all but two guys from the last two classes who is either a contributor or who we expect to be one starting next season. And I could see Pimpton possibly coming back if the NIL they pitch him is high enough.
If we keep that up, we won’t need double digit portal additions often going forward, and that’s a good thing. Then you can go all-in to compete for fewer players with potentially bigger impact.

Just replacing malcontents who want more playing time with different malcontents wanting more playing time. It's really just a jigsaw puzzle and CBK is hoping to get the puzzle right, as is everyone. In the end it is CBK and even with a loaded roster, he will fall short and turn into BGB

Center was the biggest need and they got the best one in the portal who is the #2 IOL on On3. There are still in on several other OL as well. Until those guys start dropping off the board you should assume they are pushing hard for at least one more big time pick up.
