The national media and midwest/rival fan bases are absolutely eaten up with LSU hiring a competent coach, especially taking one away from one of the media’s pet programs.

That’s why you’re seeing hit piece after hit piece. It’s pathetic how transparent the agenda is.

Yes ESPN is all over the 5 year defensive coordinator (4 years @ Cincinnati 1 @ ND)with no head coaching experience named Marcus Freeman. Brian Kelly is the old white guy with the fake southern accent headed to LSU. Forget that resume Brian Kelly has at every stop he has made as a HEAD COACH. frick ESPN and people like Ryan Clark.

Yes, they’re happy when we hire caricatures who they declare “a great fit” for LSU. The moment we get a real coach it’s “now hold on a second”.

It’ll be interesting to see how Freeman does. And since I already hated Notre Dame I’ll happily pull against them. ESPN and Yahoo would delete a lot of stories if he ends up flopping.

Young black guy with little experience so he is guaranteed to be better than the old white guy who beat Knute’s record and has the most wins of any active coach ( including Saban who is a decade older).
BK is the poster child for white privileged supremacy in the world of the real life Hunger Games freaks that the RINOs handed the country over to a year ago.

It's due to the fact the national media, especially those located in the NE US are a bunch of elitist idiots and have no idea of our way if life. They honestly believe it's 1850 down in Louisiana, and think we all talk like Ed Ogeron and dress like Justin Wilson, I Gaaaaa-ron-teeeee. Woody just took a huge deuce on all of them and I love it.

RC is butthurt because LSU didn't make an attempt to interview Mel Tucker. You know , because he's black, and that's what you're supposed to do, even though it's not his money that's being spent. RC is nothing but an ignorant, racist woke idiot. The Rooney rule does not exist in CFB.

All he has to do is win and it all goes away. If he loses then the situation will compound itself and he will get fired a multimillionaire. It’s that simple.

Notre Dame is thinking short term to keep their staff and recruiting class intact by promoting Freeman, but long term, they're gambling on a DC who's never been a head coach before. It might work out, it might not, we'll see.

I don’t know what you think a hit piece is, all of the stuff written has just brought up facts from Kelly’s time at ND. The kid falling incident, the sexual assault/suicide incident, and the grades things. Those things did happen so Kelly isn’t squeaky clean.

Now, the media can go frick themselves for not covering them and choosing to under report on them because it was ND and now that Kelly is at LSU somehow he suddenly becomes toxic.

But hopefully the guy will understand he doesn’t have the protection of ND anymore and if any one of those three things or similar happens at LSU the media is going to jump on it.

It’s because the national media thinks ND is the pinnacle of college football and they’re aghast anyone would leave to coach elsewhere. The media has always had an incestious relationship with ND.

This is evidenced by who they hired to represent “the south” on SEC network. They couldn’t have picked any more try hard douchebags with an exaggerated accent.

I’m sure if you check the resumes of a lot of these people at the different outlets and networks, there are a lot of ND grads. Always felt this was the reason for their NBC contract. There’s absolutely no reason for a school of that size, record, and schedule to snag a contract with a major network.
