One positive from last night is Brennan is not hitting the portal. After that shite show you know he thinks he can come back and take the job from Max. We had no deep shots last night and Brennan can do that all day with Boutte and Palmer.

Probably wouldn’t have been a whole lot different result.

I don’t know. Max was horrible. A just good Brennan would scored 2 more touchdowns. Let’s not act like the UCLA secondary was amazing.

Max didn’t have one deep throw. Everything was YAC. Brennan could have changed what UCLA was doing defensively and definitely would have read the exotic looks better. Max was horrible.

Brennan would have been sacked 12 times last night.

Yeah but Brennan can stretch the field which in turn backs the defense up from being so close to the line of scrimmage. Which would help the running game.

I think there is a good chance Brennan finds a way to win, but the point about this team being weak is well taken.

With our offensive line we don’t have time to run anything deep. It’s as bad as I’ve ever seen.

Lmao you Brennan fan boys are delusional.

Yea stretch the field with less than a second to throw.

Stretching the field requires long developing routes, those were impossible to let develop with the shite o line.

Sorry but no qb would have been able to do much, without much improved line this team is destined to lose 5or more games again

IMO UCLA wouldn't have had the same game plan against Brennan. They sold out almost every play to put pressure on a young QB and it worked. I'm not sure they would have had the same strategy against Brennan.

Yea like he did against State and Mizzou last season.

Defense shot the bed again this game like they did last season.

Brennan would have been in the corner crying for mommy with all the pressure that was getting to Max

Any qb back there is going to get hurt by the end of the season. Max took an absolute beating last night. Brennan is just as indecisive as Johnson. Better passer no doubt but takes a while to get the ball out. We might have multiple qbs out with injuries if the line doesn't figure out how to block.

Not if he’s running for his life, Tom Brady would have looked the same behind this pathetic excuse for an o-line

Max just stood there as long or longer than Brennan

This.

Does everyone remember the first scrimmage when our OL got destroyed and people were wondering if the OL was terrible or if the DL was just crazy nasty?

Now we know.

The OL couldn't protect him long enough for anythi8ng to develop beyond 10 yards. Do you really think he can't throw the ball downfield?
