Took what the D gave him and don’t think the UF coaches didn’t know his limitations deep. It was about poise. On the road against a Florida team with legit playoff hopes. I’m just not convinced Myles wins that game. Myles is more polished Bec he had years of college coaching. I know he’s mobile enough but I seriously? His durability Bec IMO were not beating elite Sec teams wout a qb who can make big time runs n big moments. Especially a Saban D. Burrow was the best hands down and wout some big time runs we may have lost. As far as TJ being not Sec caliber.. I don’t buy that. Bec he struggled as a TF? Cmon. He didn’t have Brad Johnson teaching him from the time he could walk. Or several years of college coaching. In a few years I think he’s a stud. May not be at Lsu but he showed some promise start to finish vs USC. It wasn’t 2 min drill down 30 to state. So whoever mentioned Harris just don’t! Even if it was just an arm strength reference. MB is capable if he stays healthy for sure but something tells me Max has that X factor ppl always mention. The way he kept answering not just at the Swamp. But against a Lane coached offense. I mean who else can we think of in Lsu history that could do that ? Hmmmmm I only can think of one. Mental toughness/ ice water n veins gives Max the edge IMO

Only max johnson makes that first touchdown to jaray jenkins in the bacm of the endzone.

Put the perfect touch on the ball.

I still think brennan probably starts cause he can fit the ball in tight spaces.

You can win with max though. It's going to be close. I'd be happy with either guy

That might be the difference in who starts this season.

TJ’s ball would get there and never get over 15 feet off the ground.

I'm of the belief that Finley has the most upside of any QB currently on the roster and that includes Nuss. What he needs to do is keep at it and don't listen to stupid people like you. IMO it will likely be Brennan and then Johnson as those are the two best options right now, but who knows about next year or the year after. What Finley needs most is knowledge of the position. It's great that he has coaches that have taught both college and the NFL. If you didn't know, Peetz was an offensive analyst for the QBs at Bama and helped Blake Sims become the all time single season leader in total yards and TDs at Bama in 2013. He was also an offensive assistant and QB coach on the Raiders and helped young Derek Carr to his best years. Maybe Finley could be Peetz's project.

I am of the belief that if TJ was white you would expect him to finally give up & transfer somewhere he has a chance to see the field.

Brennan was the highest rated deep ball passer in the SEC before he got hurt.

You’re using a team stat to knock Brennan’s 3rd down% which is completely misleading

Brennan was 1-2.

He is uneasy and poor pocket pressence
Took too long to release the ball
Had 3 years on campus
Has the best arm of any QB since Russell

No doubt has a huge upside but just did not win and you can blame defense but he failed under pressure.

Very simple analysis of Brennan, when he had time he performed very good
When under pressure he failed miserably

I hope and wish Brennan finds the it factor and becomes a All American QB, he has the arm but all the other assets need to improve.

The fact that Max is in competition means the coaching staff is waiting for Brennan to prove he has the IT FACTOR
