He has looked good in the outfield this year. His arm looks like he should be in right field, not left. That sliding catch he made in the wind late in the game was smooth.

I hope he his bat gets hot...

Jobert needs to be in the lineup. He’s good, and he also played for Nicholls for y’alls info.

His pinch hit single will go mostly overlooked, but it was one of the biggest ABs of the game.

He has looked good all year. He has not had the opportunity to play much. I think he has the type of arm to make the throw to third base from RF.

Klinger has looked good in right, too.

I have to respectfully disagree with you Jax. He's looked like a butcher out there in a few games.

I will eat crow. He came up big for the tigers today. Without him we don’t win.

Sorry but I just can’t agree with that. Good pitchers had made Jobert look plum silly at the plate pretty much all year or whenever he plays.

But In his defense the same can be said about many other batters in LSUs lineup against good pitching. Especially left handed pitching

And he can also flip a whole series single handed like he did at vandy last year.

When he gets hot he can have a 10-12 RBI weekend

As others has said, this isn't true. I've defended him on here as he undeservedly became tRants favorite whipping boy, but he's made some real blunders in the field.

However, his catch today was highlight reel and he delivered a super clutch hit.

He's too inconsistent in the field and at the plate to be in the lineup regularly but against certain righties he can rake and win the you game

To be fair, so is everyone else right now. We are getting very little production from that spot.

We haven’t found anyone to hold onto that OF spot is the problem. Kling has been bad since SEC play began. Pearson has been bad the past 2 weeks. Kling and Jobert both have more upside than Pearson IMO. I’d prefer Kling get out of his slump. He can be and eventually will be a 5 tool player.

Agreed. I'll add, by all accounts Pearson also struggled off-season. Jobert has always been a streaky hitter and he is the worst defense of the three. Kling is going to be the answer, but he's hit a wall - and hard. It just depends on when he gets over it. He has the potential to be the best hitter and fielder amongst the three.

Again, I disagree with Jobert being the worst fielder. I think all of them are good, though. None of them has an error, and Jobert has as many assists as the other two, combined. He has a cannon for an arm (as does Kling). He has that third baseeman's arm and quick release.
