I was hoping to see him play this year as well. Would have been nice to see him line up behind Copeland in short yardage situations.

Gotta believe he felt slighted when the coaches moved his high school teammate, whom Worle worked his arse off recruiting for LSU, to the same position he was recruited to play.

That probably has very little to do with it. It happened 5 months ago, if it was the only issue he would have left before now.

Worle apparently doesn't realize he is an injury away from taking Copelin's place

I hate to hear that. High school highlight videos don't really mean a lot but Worle's was damned impressive. Beware the Beastman.

it looked as if Copeland had beat him out. Hope this mean that Copeland is the real deal and can be dominate ala Quinn Johnson. He has good size for a fullback and looked explosive in high school at DE.

You mean "dominant"?

NOOOOOOOO! man I wanted to see that dude blow ppl up, either as a FB or maybe a LB with the way he hit.

gotta be weird that his HS teammate/ classmate (and probably roommate) beat him out.

We all knew this was coming and in reality there will be a few more "transfers".

This is the dark side of attrition. We gotta get below our limit, its all a numbers game.

That being said, very good luck to you BW! I'm sad to see you go, you really had a lot of potential and will do well elsewhere.

Any early word or thoughts about where he may transfer?

I hope that's not what happened. There are at least a dozen guys that I would have "attrited" before Worle.

Just found out one of my favorite players on the team left but at least someone quoted the sample I put in on his highlights. I wonder what really happened here.

I read where Copeland didn't really want the FB postion.

Would it not be pertinent to sign two FBs this year with the loss of Worle?

We need 6 more to leave by August if all the signees are eligible. Worle was not going to play this year. He was behind Copeland and Stampley and wasn't going to play tailback either. It's a numbers game and his decision made it a little easier on the coaching staff.

JC Copeland is a true team player if this is true because any chance of making big money in a professional career has taken a big hit. Defensive line is the way for him to go. Quinn will make nice money but the full backs today are moving to tight end type guys or guys who are multi-talented. There is the occasional blocker but NFL teams want most fullbacks to be able to catch passes and do other things. Pure blocking fullbacks will be rare.
