Two talented players on this basketball team who have to be two of the most inconsistent offensive players in the history of LSU basketball.

If we can't get more production every contest from two of our players with a ton of basketball experience, then we may not win many more games on the schedule.

It's unacceptable.

We are who we are. A scrappy team but below average. I think will surprise a few teams but when it's all done... NIT

This team is crashing hard, hope they can turn it around. If this team is not playing fast they are screwed; stand around offense and weak interior defense.

I just expected more from those two. Sampson scores 17 last game and looked asleep today. Where in the hell was Epps?

Remember when everyone was saying they couldn’t wait until Sampson returned from his injury?

You either match the other teams intensity or you don’t. Soft doesn’t adequately describe this club.

Sampson athletically is one of the most talented wings we've had in the last 10 years. You are right he just has no intensity. Why he can't drive the baseline and draw fouls is beside me. Where in the hell was Epps tonight????

Reath is the only one who consistently shows up night end and night out offensively. Waters has looked lost offensively the last 3 games and we lost all 3. This team is young and inexperienced for the most part. We are headed in the right direction with Wade and just have to be patient. The fact that we are actually angry about a loss instead of expecting it is a nice change from Jones era.

Our offense is predicated on getting the ball inside to DR first. After that it’s basically slashing and throwing up 3s. We don’t have the talent or defense to run a consistent offensive game plan.

Sampson and Epps are not good enough to create their own shot. They should be good for at least 10 points a game getting open looks off the dribble but that will be extremely hard each game because we have zero offensive game plan other than getting DR going.
It’s going to be a long rough season everyone getting upset needs to take a step back. This team will finish near where it was predicted.

Sampson has zero fluidity and zero touch. He’s simply a raw athlete... It’s a shame though because he has the tools to be great.

It is about defense and effort. That’s why they didn’t play much.

Sampson is good enough to create his own shot though. He's got beautiful shot and can jump out of the gym but something just isn't right with him. He scores 17 last game and barely looks alive today.

We are really lacking a true power forward. We can't rebound on the offensive end at all. Blakeney definitely would have helped. Along with Ben Simmons too lol.

We also only have two players that can create their own offense in Mays and Waters. Mays is worse at finishing than an 80 year old with ED and Waters doesn’t take enough shots.

Epps can't defend. That's why he was on the bench. Vandy has a lot of movement in their offense and Epps was lost trying to defend. And on the few occasions he went one on one in the paint he was eaten alive.

The team as a whole didn't play defense today and Wade couldn't afford to keep him on the court. That won't be the case every game, but today it was

He has averaged 5 points per game since UK. The guy has been terrible this season. Expectations were for him to do much more.
